Dancer Archive

Ok, maybe its my imagination, but when the chat servers are down (i.e. you can't send tells or use groupchat or tell if people are logged in) targeted mind buffs aren't working. Maybe these aren't related and its just a wierd coincedence.

Anyone else have thoughts?

I've noticed that /watch works about half the time but that choosing watch from the radial menu always works for getting the buff (as long as the dancer targets me with the buff and doesn't target someone else too soon after targeting me first.

People that watch my dancer get the buff everytime is they remember to watch me and to /stopwatch as soon as it its time to stop.

Here is what I tell people:

#1 stand up (don't try to /watch while sitting)

#2 have them first do /stopw and /stopl

#3 now tell them to /watch and make sure they get the message they are watching you

#4 sit down and don't do anything, /setperform your target

#5 wait 8-10 minutes and then /stopw

I use this command to time 8 minutes:

/alarmaddin 0 8 buff done
