Any word on when the client side graphic glitch will be fixed? I really love these dances, but when other people see me doing them, I always get "Twink.. what ya doing? Is that dance broken?"

It's a shame because I think Lyrical 2 is really beautiful.

I know, Lyrical is one of my favorites. It looks good to me, but I know others are seeing a different base move than I am.

It hasn't been forgotten but neither has anything been done about it yet. He wants to get some time to see whats going on but just hasn't found that time yet. I'm sure it will get fixed but it may be a while yet. Lyrical2 is my favorite dance so I definately feel your pain on this one.

Until it's fixed, we'll just have to try to minimize the 'stumbling' steps. Try these numbers for your pauses after the flourishes.

Lyrical
Flourish 1 - 24 secs
Flourish 2 - 22 secs
Flourish 3 - 17 secs
Flourish 4 - 21 secs

Formal
Flourish 1 - 16 secs
Flourish 2 - 17 secs
Flourish 3 - 18 secs
Flourish 4 - 14 secs

Yeah I call this "Airplane dancing" since it looks like your character is trying to play airplane instead of dance... sigh...

Last night 2 people were doing lyrical and the one closer to me looked like she was airplane dancing and the one further away looked "right." Usually it's the other way around (farther = more chance of seeing the airplane) but it was the opposite last night for some reason.

Worse, I have seen popular and poplock degenerate into warped versions of the airplane since the last patch -- not often, but a few times now. Grrr...

I too have seen this Ches,

Popular2 Poplock2, and also Rhythmic2. I swear in time all our dances will be the airplane dance .

Just wanted to add my voice in saying, I really hope this issue gets some attention! I know there are a lot of issues, and I also want to say thank you Ravenmist and our Dance Dev -- you've been doing a bang-up job on making some progress! Just want to let you know that the Formal and Lyrical dances are some of my favorites too (when viewed properly), and it's definitely a priority (if perhaps not the top one) in my eyes to fix those animations. (Especially if the problem has grown to encompass other dances as well, as some have noted!)

lol, i was so eager to get rid of that nasty footloose dance and when i got to formal and saw what it was really supposed to look like, i was kinda glad it was bugged. i looke like i just got hit in the head and am having trouble seeing.

i can just say, "it's bugged, it actually looks really cool" instead of hopping on one foot and looking around like i just woke up.

heheh.

fix those nasty animations that look like afterthoughts on the weird flourishes.

I really REALLY miss Lyrical! I'm stuck in Poplock2 Hell atm...3K to go... /sigh
