I am sure this was posted somewhere before and I just missed it, but I just got lyrical dance last night and I was super exicted b/c it looks like so pretty. Flourishes 1 -4 were great, but them I done 5-8 and almost cried. They were popular 2 and poplock2as well. I was just wondering if I was bugged, or if all we have for those flourishes is 1 - 4?

Actually, the flos are messed up and only 4 flo's work with Lyrical currently.

You can get 8 good flourishes for both formal and lyrical if you have the two dances... here's how: combine them! :-)

That's right.. do them together. Use /changedance to change between formal and lyrical. Time the flourishes so not much "base dance" shows up between them. Now you have four good flourishes for lyrical and 3 or 4 (depending on your taste) for formal, for a total of 7-8. 1-3 are good for both. 4 is good for lyrical. In my opinion 4 is also quite acceptable for formal but some people don't like that one. I am on vacation for the week but I have a macro I call "formlyr" on my home computer that I can post here with proper timings and a combo of the eight flourishes if anyone would like it. It won't let you AFK macro dance or anything... it just does one pass through the "dance" (about half my action bar). Then I just hand-re-fire it when or if I want. Often by the time it is done I am ready to switch to something else.

Just don't forget the base dance is buggy, so unless you want to look like some sorta drunk on ice skates, don't stop flourishing.

Yup Formal and Lyrical mixing is why "stringing" is so important

Oooo wile Im at it use Lyrical flourish 2 for drift corection and do the mixing by hand these two dances are PRIME for a bit of double mixing when your in the mood to kick a little ass.

Here are my macros for the Lyrical and Formal dances. My goal was to have as little of the non-flourish lyrical steps as possible. This does NOT maximize xp or action use. Hope this helps:

Lyrical:
/flourish 1;
/pause 24;
/flourish 2;
/pause 22;
/flourish 3;
/pause 17;
/flourish 4;
/pause 21;
(repeat)

Formal:
/flourish 1;
/pause 16;
/flourish 2;
/pause 17;
/flourish 3;
/pause 18;
/flourish 4;
/pause 14;
