I'm gonna start going master chef / master merchant in a couple of days / a week... so I was wondering if it's possible for someone to place a cantina and transfer it to me. I do not want to wait untill master chef to place it because that would be just plain silly.

You need Master dancer and or Master Music to own the cantina

transfer WIll not work if you dont have the skill

master chef do not get the ability to place the cantina either

Ummm check the politician boards people are already dropping master and cantinas don't go poof. Isn't that a nice exploit?

I used to think it was dancer/musician only too, and that chef was just a rumor.. But then I saw a chef who owned a cantina. And to be honest, chef is the way to go if you want it to pay for itself. (Being a dancer myself, I outsourced the bartender position to a chef, and the chef can hardly keep up with the sales)

I believe someone will be able to transfer to you once you reach master chef, but not before.

Do you think its possible that the chef was also a dancer or musician who since dropped the dancer or musician?

Master chefs have always been able to place cantinas. In fact, if I understand the original conception correctly it seems that ONLY master chefs could originally place them.

The various places where it omitted chef from the allowed professions were bugs. If you look them up today it should say chef/dancer/musician.
