Please don`t flame me.
My holocron is Master Dancer and I made a macro but if I disconnect from SW:G and logon an hour or so later then my character is in the Slitherhorn pose and I got no xp.
The macro is quite simple
/Macro fun 3;
/pause 20;
/flourish 1;
/start macro fun3;
I only need to run the macro for when I am AFK, which is usually for 30 mins or so I can do some chores and take the dogs for walk.
Thanks for anyone help.

Uh....yes, silly, the game has to be on and you must be connected to your server. If you turn it off and disconnect your not playingthe gameanymore whether you started a macro or not.

Ok. Thanks. I thought the macros might have been server side as well as client side so they can run all the of the time.

Even disconnecting without logging out is disconnecting.
if I change computers- like I log on on my fiance's computer, then I notice than none of my settings are actually where I left them. The macros are stored on your computer (there's a file in the SWG folder) and executing them means the game draws the information from your computer (hit action toolbarSlot 03) and that is relayed to the server which has your character execute the command. Without the information from your computer, it can't do anything.
When the server drops the connection with your computer (by logout, link dead or disconnect/exitgame) then your character goes LD and that's the end of it.
