Once we get through some of the other key things, Ill post em, but there is no rush on those.
This happened in the recent friday feature thread. Could we please clarify that keeping promises, communicating with his customers and actually doing his job as a community representant is indeed in need of a rush because he's failing miserably right now ?
Where are our Top 5 ?
Where are our 10 Answers ?
I have seen better communication from a dead and rotting loaf of bread.

It's upseting when the only communication we have had with the devs since October/November has been:
- one post from Runesaber complimenting Sultrina on her great dance thread
- Being told that we are now going to be given an entertainer droid with 10 new effects in publish 8.
- A poll thread asking for ways to improve entertainer missions.
I'm glad Runesaber liked Sultrina's thread, it's wonderful information. And I'm glad to hear we are going to get some new effects, although with the assitance of a droid. And, I'm glad they are looking into ways to improve entertainer missions sometime in the long far future.
Its too bad that outside of the mission stuff, absolutely none of what we have been given so far has been anywhere approaching priority stuff for us; nor, has a single question we've asked ever been answered. The most we have gotten is the equivilant of the devs saying "here take these crumbs to keep you happy."
I understand the devs are busy, I know they can only handle so much at once, and I certainly know we aren't the only ones alone in this blatant neglect.
But, lets put things in perspective here. This isn't just one crafting profession, or one combat profession thats being impacted. This is an entire unique profession style that is being completely neglected. Every single profession, from novice entertainer and up, has been completely disregarded. The only other profession style I can think of that comes close to this level of neglect would be Scout/Ranger/Squad Leader.
Its sad, and its upsetting that in a game that was supposed to appeal to everyone and encourage group interaction, its the most social of all the professions that is being tossed aside as "something that there is no rush to get to".
I guess there are enough afk bots around to keep the other professions maintained and happily buffed so that we aren't breaking anything. Me, I'll be over in my corner with my few great friends who still love to entertain in this game. And we'll be having as much fun as we can at it dancing around and playing our music. Its just too bad we have to work to make things fun or isolate ourselves to have it.
Said he took our questions with us on Vacation.. I'm probably more sick of this then anyone. I can't do my job if they won't freekin answer me.
{{Hugs}}to Ravenmist.
I don't understand why the devs don't seem to get the idea that, since we also pay our $50 for the game and $15 a month for online access that means -WE ARE CUSTOMERS!! Since when is a customer's ligitimate concerns about a product they use NOT a rush!
The falls, the bugged dances, the fact that master dances have less dances/flos than novices, the crappy missions, the completelyuseless xp that masters continue to gain, the spamming AFKers, the number of skill points it takes to become master (leaving double masters with no pts to even use for weapon skills to protect themselves) . . .
/sigh . . . /sigh . .. /sigh . . ./sigh
***HUGS*** to you Ravenmist from me as well.
What can I say that hasn't been so eloquently stated already, other then we are dying thru attrition. (I've had my fill of that recently and don't care for another round thank you very much.) Just look at posts on this board! Masters are either cancelling their accounts or leaving for other proffesions. Maybe, as it was mentioned in another thread, this is the intention of the powers to be. To just let us die off and turn the jobs over to NPC's. I LOVE this proffesion! I dont think I could play another any more. As it stands right now there are only a few things keeping me here. If that ever changes I wont be here long after.
Hi everyone
I've been a Dancer for many months now. As soon as I created my character I walked to the closest cantina and started dancing. I love it!. But I'm new to this board and am just learning about the problems that we Dancers are having.
I mean, I've noticed that the Master dances don't have as many flourishes as the basics but only now, after reading ths post, am wondering, "Hey! That's right!!"
I'm lucky in that I still haven't been turned off by my profession yet. I guess since I'm the only regular entertainer in my guild I'm still quite needed. I enjoy it to the point of even thinking of getting into doing music as well.
All I can say is hang in there. Yes, we're not well supported since we aren't a combat class. But I'm sure they'll get to us. I just hope that it's sooner and not later.

I agree with this entire thread.
I can't begin to comment on how frustrated I am on numerous of the items discussed in the thread.
I will say that I play the game as a dancer. No other characters, just one. I try doing other things but I will never give up that kewl and fun gig of being a dancer. Today, dancer isn't as fun as it used to be. When I can't have fun being a dancer I will quit this game and SOE will lose a customer. I am not their yet, but I am starting to get there.
It appears to me that SOE figures either, I will be replaced so who cares what I want; or I will remain a customer and move on to another player "class", so who cares what I want yet again. If either is the case, they are sadly mistaken.Further my predicition is that ifthis isthe true view of SOE in regards to customers' desiresthen this product will cease to exist in about 24 months. Then again, maybe that's in keeping with their strategic plan anyway?
