Well, the time has almost arrived. I never thought it would happen, from dayone I saidA'Ri wouldbe a dancer forever, but that is not to be. Sadly, it will leave my guild without a main char entertainer, but I don't want to dance anymore.

SWG doesn't have the RP I thought it would and now that I have tasted the buggy PvP, I've discovered that I'd rather deathblow an enemy than twirl around doing the same dances over and over again in the cantina. In addition, the lack of response from TH is just... well... I really have nothing to say on that matter. Would a response keep me dancing? I don't think so.

I've really enjoyed the entertaining community and while it will be a few weeks before I actually drop the dancing skills, at heart I'm no longer a dancer so I bid you all farewell.

Ravenmist, if I were you I'd have probably resigned by now

Javier... You know where to find me. Thank you for making the dancing profession on Bria enjoyable for me. I'll hunt you down for one last night of dancing (I'm stuck in Overt mode again though.. *grin*)

Until next time,

A'ri - hope you find more fun with your choice. I think I know how you feel, I haven't danced in ages...for me the fun is gone. I feel ignored too.

BTW, I thought it was cool that you were one of the few overt dancers I had the pleasure of dancing beside.

*sigh* Just can't stay away from the Dancer forum Too many nice ppl.

I help out with base offense/defense so I need to be Overt. Once I go overt, for some reason, I can't go covert until I die in a place that isn't imperial aligned. So... I'm almost always an overt dancer It was a problem for a few of the cantina crawls because I kept getting threatened by town militia. *grin* Entertainers really should go overt more often. It's so funny to be at a starport, be surrounded by master TKA, rifleppl, BH, etc., and be the ONLY overt.

There was one instance when I cameupon an overt rebel in a starport. He said, "Don't worry, I won't attack you." I thought, "Great! I might make it home alive!" Of course, when his overt rebel friend showed up, THEN he attacked The moral of the story: I don't think they're ignoring we entertainers; I think they're afraid of us!

OT, but in line with what you just mentioned, Ari, Roho and I took TFs yesterday and after being gunned down by a couple of overt Imps acting all big and mighty in our rebel faction town (seems all the TF Knights were off on a krayt hunt) I had one of them actually try to tell me that asa dancer I had more defense points than he had offense ones . . . .

Yeah, right - and the sky is falling . . . . .

BOT - please reconsider! Lilo is leaving and Javy hasn't been around for over a week . . . I'm beginning to feel like Lei, Roho and I are going to end up being the only ents on Bria soon . . . .

*laugh* Cowards. I happen to be pretty handy with a rifle, so I can put up a good fight

When you decide to become an imperial, let me know! I know of a quaint little cantina in Mandalore that needs a new proprietor (sp?)

Unfortunately, I am not exactly the best fighter at the moment. But, I am working on my skills and do plan to master at least one elite combat profession at some point. Of course, I'm a social non-grinding creature, so that "some point" will probably be 6 months from now. lol. But, what I want to say is that I think whenever that happens, I plan on keeping my Master Dancer title on at all times, as I do now. I love the idea of being an overt Master Dancer that someone tries to pick a fight with, who all of a sudden gets their butt handed to them on a silver platter because they had no idea meek little old me had a lick of fighting skills.

One day...one day...

I've given up entertaining for the last time as well. I got up to master entertainer/novice musician again, it was fun to try music out this time instead of dance. What made it fun was the comunity Javier has built through his entertainer chat channel, had it not been for thatI wouldn't have see it through and enjoyed it for the month and a half i entertained again. I guess i've finaly given up for good becauseI don't believe that sony is realy going to add any content to the entertainer world, and even if they do it's way too late after 7 months of play for me.
