Hello folks,

I am a Master Dancer/ Politician and Mayor of New Hope on Ahazi. I'm looking for those who are NOT HOLO GRINDING! lol

I've been trying to recruit ingame for a little while now and only get drowned out, or outright laughed at by the holo grinders "lol why would someone want to be a professional ent?" is the popular response........ I'm just tired of having my recruitment efforts turn into attempts to defend the profession.

We are a rebel city on Dantooine, our cantina is usually occupied off and onduring the day, and by night there are generally a few people in there at least constantly, and mission running players just outside, an Entertainer Doctor would be perfect and have plenty to do (I would do that if I wasn't mayor). The popularity of the city as a grinding location is growing fast, it's possibly the BEST combat grinding location on the server (quenker missions), and with the high quality Herbavore meat currently being dropped by Pikets the popularity of the city has been increasing fast lately. The one thing we lack is a regularly, andnon AFK,manned cantina. I leave laviniaa in there AFK during the day when I am not around, which is ok, but I'm looking for more than just entertainers, I'm looking for people who want to take part in hosting events, plan events, and run events.

As I posted in another thread here, I think taking the live act to the player cities is the best way to avoid the AFKers, in fact I think the hunters/fighters/combat grinders would prefer not to have to go to NPC cities when they could get healed/buffed and chat it up in a live player cantina environment. You can make a business out of it, rent vendor space behind the counter (docs, chefs, tailors love that spot, just disable the vocalization so they don't spam and your golden!)decorate the place with some cool stuff, rare items, or something and if you attract enough business you can even add an entrance fee Hold events in the cantina, or make use of the Guild Hall for some live events, the Devs have even added some things lately I noticed to help player events.

In New Hope, I want to set up a part of the Guild/City an entertainment/specail events group. We are a medium sized PA (about 90 members) with many allies interrested in events like tournaments, speeder races, weddings, etc... personally want to have the city prepaed by July to hold a festival in the city on or around the 4th. Combat Tournaments, TK, Fencer, Pikemen, General Melee, maybe a speeder race, a battle of the bands, some droid/pet fights (gambling), if we can get it maybe some Jedi demonstrations (though that will be tough..), a rebel military rally possibly with parade and of course an excellent fireworks show .... several of them would be cool

There is alot of content that entertainers, and eventminded playerscan bring to the game. If you wantto have events, join a cool group of SWG playerswho are community minded and like to have fun, want to build/run your own cantina,or just want to perform someplace that's notfull of AFK spammers making fun of the entertainer classesgive me amail or a /tell in game. Either Quintus or Laviniaa work, we are on Ahazi. You have to be rebel, or don't have to be declared at the moment, but we are a rebel guild, and we are a rebel city so please keep that in mind.

We are also looking for professional craftsmen, so if you are a Dancer/Artisan or Droid Engineer etc... you would find your self in high high demand in New Hope
