Thread: duel wield for dancers not combat?

What the hell is wrong with the devs duel wield has been being asked for from teh professions that can use it for some time and they the only thing clsoe to dancers!? Yeah i konw its gunna take more coding to add the debuffs of using 2 weapons and other coding but they need to focus on who wants/needs it not give it to dancers...



my old register messed up so now im stuck with the 05 one and ive been playing for 2 years

Actually once you enter combat the props disappear, so technically it is not dual-weilding because we cannot do so in combat. There is a big difference to say, dual-wielding pistols or swords, and dual-wielding dancing props while you are dancing.

you can't get dual wield unless you can spell it

The only reply to this that pops to mind is...

(censored) Noob!

It's a PROP! There's no damage to calculate, nothing to balance. It's just freakin' ARTWORK.

Now that the artwork is there, maybe... JUST MAYBE, some genius is doing the math and trying to figure out how to balance dual wield for combat types. You do realize that the art department and the coding are two different teams, right?

Personally, I'd rather see dual wield balanced BEFORE they release it to the combat types. Much better than releasing a half done project and then having to hit it with the nerf bat down the line, don'cha think?

And not to forget: Dance props are available in a right hand and a left hand version.
In its current implementation that would most likely mean that all weapons that will be able to be dual wielded would need to be recoded to be available as left handed version as well.
