So I am useful to "non-combat professions." I don't see how this improves my gameplay.
If I had a second account that could use the enhancement, perhaps that alt's gameplay would be improved. But since I don't have that, what real utility does it give me?
If I were in a guild, this could be something all the guild crafters will want me to do for them. But frankly, they don't need a dancer player, as much as they need a dancer account. The good thing about having a dancer account that everybody can log on for themselves is that it is available to everyone, at every time.
Will my income improve? Doubtful. I have no doubt that players will want these. But I have no reason to think that they will pay me to offer them. More likely, they would do like I have outlined above. Buy a second account, so they need not bother finding one of us.
Will this encourage more players and guilds to use the search functions? Ent channels? Friends lists? "live entertainer contacts?" Well, look at how these professions have been used in similar capacities, and you be the judge.
What do I have as a dancer player to increase my fun, and value for my own fun as a result of this publish?
Nothing.
In fact, my ability to increase my fun has been nerfed. I can serve every other player in the game...except for the one player that really matters to me: myself. I can no longer even use my own skillset. Now tell me. Please do. How does this make my experience in the game better, more worthwhile, and more fun?
It doesn't. If anything, it only gives me more resaons to besomeone else'sutility alt. So can some BlueTag or RedTag tell me exactly what the point is of these "additions?"

I understand that you're upset that we're getting buffs. But seriously do we need a new post every darn day about it? Is this all that different than your "perform" post? Sorry for your woes Madame, but I had to vent.

If the post offends you, don't read the post.
After all, Goldy. You never wanted to entertain.
You just wanted to not have any freeloaders.
Congradulations. You got your wish. Now nobody can get a buff off of you without your permission.

Oh I wanted to comment on your "you never wanted to entertain" snip. My entertaining may not be the same as your version of being passive and transparant and having no audience what so ever but the way I play my dancer satisfies me.
Because you don't understand or agree doesn't mean I do not wish to be entertaining. Its different, not wrong.

Turning this into a personal argument does not help either side of the argument.
