What does it actually do when the dancer falls besides make you look dumb?

It, erm....I mean it..... I dunno <.<
Ah, I got it, It enhances the realism of the game by demonstrating that no one ever really is a master of anything and we all make mistakes >.>

TY............but seriously does anyone know the answer to that or are the devs secretely trying to say dancer is a dumb prof cuz I mean all it is dancing animation healing and the mics that you turn on and off have no use and they fall which does nothing it seems.
Shame on you Devs

Makes novices look like novices...as though they're still learning.
The better question is why do masters fall?

I've been wondering why masters still fall as well...and why does holding a weapon make you balance? Some might make sense like a polearm but blasters and ranged weapons don't make sense to me.

I hate to say this, but I almost think it's a bug. Because, have you ever been dancing by yourself, or more noticeably in a group, and somebody performs a /bandflo, everyone does the /flo but you, and you're holding a weapon? I think somehow, in the coding, holding the weapon stops the fall animation. You still fall, it just looks like you don't. You can tell this because you don't perform the flourish.

Holy Moley! I've been wondering this myself!
But I need a smaller weapon to hold than a stupid survival knife. Looks bad for a MDancer to be holding a n00b knife. I've had too many (negative) comments given to me about it and it doesn't go with any of my outfits.
Of course, holding a pole (thus, "pole-dancing") looks good enough for the basic and rhymthic dances. But holding a pole for an exotic (2,3,4)dance? Nah! But if I don't hole the pole or knife, I fall down.
Unreal. Not dignified at all. And certainly not sexy! (Can I say that word here?)

I'm still wondering why holding a weapon increases our mission payout.

Spraysticks are verynice too. In fact people confuse them for lightsabers all the time since they are similar in design and size.

i use my beserker rifle, makes me feel special when i get 'what kind of weapon is that' tells. I haven't found any other use for the thing since it cost me 1.3 mil and got speed sliced.

I rarely hold a weapon anymore . . . I just grumble about falling! LOL! However, while it doesn't work for everyone, I have never fallen when I equip my VKs.That being said, despite their smallness, they don't look good with any of the dances, especially the exotics (which are the only ones I fall on). Besides, they make Roho nervous
. For anything else, I guess I'm just too petite to pull off the right look with a rifle or a lance- heck even a survival knife looks huge in my hand!
