You hate me and I hate you, but this is all in fun so I'll help you in your war against us buff botters. BTW, I didn't think of these on my own, this is what some createive people have done to me.
-- Technique 1, Hi-Jacking --
This is my personal favorite because it's evil just like me.
The best way to make a buff botter angry is to hi-jack him and take his money. Basically, write a looping invite macro to keep the bot tied up.
/invite botName;
/pause 1;
/macro macroName;
Then charge people to get into the group.
-- Technique 2, Tape Sniping --
I'll tell you about this one later, right now you could use it to hurt me so I'm keeping this one a secret. But I've used it on competitive bots and it's a really nice trick.
-- Technique 3, Trapping --
This only works once and isn't really that effective. Simply trap the bot in your group with an auto invite macro. The way to make this most effective is to do it from the big entertainer group like so...
Leader spams invite to the bot for a few buff rounds. Then switch leaders in the main group and have the new leader trap.
-- Technique 4, Musical Interuption --
This is for musicians only. It is super evil.
Join the buff bots group. Start playing a song and it should stop his music. This has been done to me a few times. I think you actually have to do it band leader style. Anyhow, play around with this one. The trick to this one though is not getting caught and doing it a few times until the combat players get pissed.
1. Equipe your instrument.
2. Kill his music
3. Put your instrument away
4. Start complaining as if you didn't just do what you did.
-- Persistence --
If you persist you will eventually get them to leave, but you must persist.
-- Warning --
The botters won't take this crap lying down, so be prepared for some fighting. You should enjoy it, I know I do.

Actually, no, I don't enjoy it, despite what it says in my sig. The reality is I wish I didn't have to deal with this crap all the time. I wish I could just go into a Cantina, enjoy myself, and sell my services. But, I can't because of people like you. And, then I come to the forums, and it upsets me to see gloating and pro-buffbot posts. You're only doing the buffbot thing and the posting to annoy people, which for some reason you take pleasure from. I'm just soincredibly tired! It's too muchdamned energy that I *really* don't feellike expending. It's not in my nature, and it takes a lot out of me. I generally try to keep an open mind about people, and you've made a few "understanding" posts and sometimes I think you're not that bad. But, then you go right back to purposely trying to annoy people. It's called trolling, and it's against the rules for this board. So, seriously, please stop, or I will report every damn thread you post to. And, unlike in the game, reporting on the boards actually *work.* So, it's up to you to decide whether you want to keep posting priviledges or not.

Let me sum up what Drygo said and also add that I believe I speak for a majority of the forum here when I say to you...
%$ off, dude. Stop trying to deliberately piss us off.

Technique 2 sounds like something that used to be an exploit with the /open command, but has since been fixed. As if being a buff bot couldn't get any worse.

is itbecause your profession is dancer/musician and im stealing your business oh sorry but i dont do it for money 2k to get in buff house
are you just being a **edit** by trying to do this
ok for one your first hi-jack thing how do you think that will steal bots money they out an access fee on the house you boob so when you tryto charge others to get in your group then those peeps will just dislike you and get buffs elswhere and prob not from you let me know who you are and you will then be banned from the buff bot house period
second it is my account and i can do whatever i want with it as long as it does not go agaisnt the toa and as far as i know buff bots dont do this as far as i know
OK im sorry for ranting but I dont understand who you think you are to judge and decide what others do with thier account/toon
WS, AS, architects, doctors and chefs
all have the option to provide thier services/products in an automated way they do not have to be there to sell something and help the people of thier server
So why is it In you opinion such a bad thing
I got an idea here it is I need a live dancer and musician availible 24/7 to give me buffswhenever i need them ok sound fair do this and ill be able to use my alt toon for something else NO you cant be availible all the time ok then give people break and grow the F up play your own game and let others play thiers the way they choose to if not come over to kauri and see how much you can do against the loved and appriciated buff bots

Helpful hint of the day: Punctuation is useful.
Other than that, I will simply refer you to the other 2,647,293 posts made on the subject of buffbots for answers to your questions. As I said in my first post on this particular thread, I'm tired.
Enjoy your day.

WHY DO YOU NOT WANT TO BE A MERCHANT?
Sorry but I wanted to ask before the thread gets locked. Not because I care what he says, but because I want him and others like him to actually think about it. I want to encouragehim to post some positive ideas to make merchant a better and more functional class that he would want to play.If more people dedicated themselves to the merchant class, the game might become more enjoyable for everyone as goods would be easier to find. Certainly more productive than arguing about why people should be able to play unattended or ways to prevent people from doing it. I've tried to post ideas there but usually I see someone beats me to it.
Anyway, Naish, just remember,a galaxy divided meant rebel versus imperial, not a divide between players who like to play tycoon and those who like to play a different role in game, or combat versus something else. If you want to argue with people and insult them, please feel free to roleplay imperial or rebel or something. But your posts are definitely crossing the line into pointlessness.
