Is that an official lucas arts site? Cause sure enough right smack dab on the front page is an ad for a website selling in game credits for real money. :/

Not a chance. Right on the front page...an ad for "SWG Advanced Secrets,
Advanced Exploits, Cheats, Bugs, Strategies, Guides, New JTL Info". It's made to look like a lucasarts site, but it's definitely a fan site.

Well, you all probably know that the Official Star Wars site does have a yearly contest for fan "films". I don't know if SWG music/dance videos would quailify - especially with nonoriginal scores . . .
