Jedi can do this with a large amount of investment in their healing tree.

I am pretty sure this gets them 'visibility' on ther BH terminals though, so I would not worry to much about it myself...

As I understand it, any use of force powers in public (within acertain radiusof other players or even NPC's)increases a Jedi'svisibility on the BH boards. Time will tell if the BH presence will prove to be a natural and effective check on things, as it's supposed to be.

At least at this point, I wouldn't freak out too much about Jedi healing. Watch it, yes, and keep it in mind, but unless we start seeing some dramatic drop-offs in cantina attendance, and a corresponding loss of EH XP, let's keep the torches and frankenstein rakes in the shed for starting up riots that have a greater need to be started.

Tis still a bit on the downer side that a game that proports so much 'interdependence' has an all-in-one class like that. Yes, I know they can only master 2.5 of their trees, but that is still alot of versatlity for any one character. I think Jedi should have not ever been allowed in the game in the first place. I know that is a whole other debate though. After seeing the damage the holo-craze did to the game and what people will do to be 'leet' (no matter who/what it hurts) I am hard pressed to think of any reason why such power would be in any one toon's hands.

Yeah, I was dancing out front of Theed starport last night and all of a sudden *bam*, a list of about 12 "You have been healed for" messages.

I mean, nice of the guy to do it, especially in public like that. But the fact that he COULD do it made me sigh.

If they removed entertaining buffs I wonder how many people would seek out a jedi buddy instead of an entertainer for heals? I bet a whole heck of a lot. I bet some people might even set up a safe house with an AFK jedi healer to avoid having to deal with ents, heh.

The Jedi I know don't seem to mind being on the terms after they get a majority of the lightsaber boxes. The whole idea of Jedibeing PvP, it would seem kind of silly to avoid exposure once you can deal out some damage. And yeah..I get ninja healed a lot..especially at starports. I've been told they think the animation and sound that female avatars make is "cute".

Dramatic drop off in entertainer xp? Try playing on any server but Corbantis, Bria or Ahazi.

I watched my friend play on Tarq for a while this weekend and she sat in the Theed cantina dancing to no one but an AFK entertainer for hours.

On servers with low populations there just isn't EH to be had.

yup. any use of powers can get you on the terminals. it takes a master healer to do all that in one shot and he/she was probably doing it to get on the terminals on purpose because some jedi like to be hunted. but healing like that takes an enourmous use of force powers. the master healers are also a bit rare as a jedi template since they give up a lot of power for the extra healing making them weaker on defense and offense than different jedi builds.

so as a dancer or musician you shouldnt worry about it too much its not a FOTM by any stretch since most jedi taht go that route wont liekly setup shop and compete with you.
