Thread: I found a use for the buff bot vending machine

For the most part I find mind buffs to be a pain in rear, and its compounded by that fact that some of the customers:
a) can't listen to simple instructions
b) are rude and obnoxious
c) are still stuck in the afk entertainer mentality
I prefer to let my fellow entertainerswho are far more patient and understanding deal with the mind buffs. But every now and again I get a nice customer who appreciates an entertainer who is not afk,and I'll mind buff them. But far more often I get the meat heads that first go to one of the other ATK entertainers who were nice enough to buff them. For some reason, usually failure to follow simple instructions, the buff doesn't stick. They are rude and obnoxious to the poor dancer and then they wander over to me demanding a buff.
Now this is where the trusty ole buff vending machine comes in. I just nicely direct them to the buffing machine and tell them to have a good evening. Which of course leads to the obligatory fight at the buff vending machine about who's in the group who got invited yadda yadda yadda...
Never a dull night in the cnet cantina.

If I am dealing with someone who's a jerk I prefer to silently buff, take their money and then open up my handy /note and add their name to the list of "People to laugh at after recursive macroing is removed because they'll never be able to find a real entertainer who will care."

Off and on, been kinda busy with thanksgiving/christmas, that and a complete overhaul that pretty much involved me deleting everything and starting over because integration was neigh impossible

I keep a list of people I will buff after the recursive macro nerf, much shorter list

I prefer to just buff thejerkish playersby dancing lyrical and making sure that I string the flourishes to allow for maximum drift. Something about making them follow me all over a cantina so that I don't leave "watching range"that just makes me laugh
