Hi, I was wondering if anyone had the Lyrical flourishes timed so that I'm doing the stumbling as little as possible?

Yeah here are the timings. Note that this can be slightly variable depending on the person and how many chat windows they have open etc. But it will get you close and then you can adjust. Lyrical #1 only -- I don't have 2 yet.

Flourish 1 - 25 sec
Flourish 2 - 21 sec
Flourish 3 - 18 sec
Flourish 4 - 23 sec

FYI: The same timing works for Lyrical 2. In fact I use the very same macro non adujusted from Lyrical 1.

I use slightly different numbers. I guess you just have to play with them.

Lyrical
Flourish 1 - 24
Flourish 2 - 22
Flourish 3 - 17
Flourish 4 - 21

Formal
Flourish 1 - 16
Flourish 2 - 17
Flourish 3 - 18
Flourish 4 - 14

Yeah I think it may depend also on when exactly you start and stop your stopwatch... :-)

I am currently working on amassing a list of exactly how many seconds each flourish lasts for each type of dance, so that you can easily flow between flourishes

for example:

Basic1, flourish 1 lasts 11 seconds...

so if you want a seamless flow from flourish 1 to any other flourish IN THE DANCE BASIC

a macro would look like this:

/startd Basic;

/flourish 1;

/pause 11;

/flourish 2;

and that would give you a seamless flow from flourish 1 to 2

if someone else has done this already, please let me know

hmmm, well so far i've done the first 3...

i had 11seconds for basic/flourish 1...she has 12

but flourishes 2 and 3 are the same....

hmmmmm

hmmm, i did basic/flourish 1 again....and 11 seconds didnt work...then i tried 12 seconds...and the pause seemed a bit long....then i tried 11 seconds again...and it worked....

hmmm

this is disconcerting

well i think i'm going to go off of what the already-in-place dance cards say....and if i see anything weird...i'll edit my performances from there

Aeschyl..you're not allowed to use a macro until you learn them without one.

i am learning them!

i'm getting to know each dance, taking notes on what i like/dislkie...getting a feel for them

and then i'm going to choreograph something FUN

i just figured if it hadnt already been done, i'd take note of the flourish timings while i was at it...and running a macro to check the pause count seemed to me, to be the easiest way
