Have special dances that can be done when two or more dancers group together. This way people can dance together and give more benefits to the viewer.

Next up, have the dancer have the ability to can atleast one style of dance that can be used for combat (breakdancing!) This way the can do spinning windmills and flares, doing damage to the enemy. This could also lead into PVP Battle Dance Circles for breaking with various awards and such!

Have a nightclub that has music and lights going all the time so dancers can train, musicians can go to play and listen. This would make for more entertaining in game scenario development. Imagine a famous smuggler taking up missions and meeting people at the local discotech!

I had to respond, if for no other reason than you quote Ghost in the Shell.

I like all of the above. I'm not a dancer myself, but the entire experonce would deffinalty be nothing but more positive with your ideas, and more positive means more money from me and others, so it's great all around. I really like the clubs, and the idea of a dance-based formed of combat, like Caporea or something.

The developers stated over and over again that entertainers would not do buffs in combat. It does not fit into the Star Wars theme. I agree with them! Making theentertainer professionmore useful to combat people is not important to me, quite honestly. I enjoy the fact that they professions is important to the game! It brings people into the city and into the cantinas, ridding this game of the ghost towns, which prevail in most online games.

What would be nice is if flourishes were broken up like this.

Bandflourish:

Entire Musical ensamble flourishes to bandleaders command.

Troupflourish:

Entire Dance Troup flourishes to lead dancers commands.

Groupflourish:

Band and Dancers flourish together, this would look cool as the instrument players and dancers all flourished together. Of course all musicians and dancers need to be on the same dance/song.

Make these flourishes give EVERYONE exp not just the flourisher.

NinjaJawa, I too was just thinking a couple nights ago how nice it would be to have a sort of duo dance. Dances like Formal would be perfect for this, and would be awfully nice to watch I think. Even Popular or Exotic (dirty dancing anyone ). I've talked with some female dancers about how to coreograph things together, but to little avail because of the sporadic nature of certain dances (drifting, delayed reaction because of timing with flourishes or start of dance etc...). I hope one day that I'll be able to, but unfortuantely I probably won't be going beyond Master Entertainer and Novice Dancer as I still want to be able to fight outside of the cantina and use other specialized skills from certain professions along with my music which is where my heart is.

Anyway I agree 110% that dancers are in need of dancing with a partner with every dance style, if even something as simple as a /bandfloruish that would line you up and keep you together no matter what happens (but I'd much rather see actual interaction between the two with one character leading the dance or easily tossing the other into the air or holding them up. We need some more exotic dances (not these dances that they call exotic but should be named erotic ).
