This made my day. SOE is planning to add more professions to the mix allowing masters to advance beyond their rank to a higher level. The first two branching off the architecture profession will deal with the new player cities: Politician and Urban Planner. But they say more are being planned. There's some discussion as to what will be needed for politician...maybe business and image designer.

I liked the sound of the Elite-Elite professions. For some professions, this sounds pretty good, but I have to wonder how others (such as all the combat professions) could be improved beyond where they already are with other combat skills.

Actually, upon reviewing the link, it sounds like Urban Planner is the elite-elite profession, whereas Politician will be a regular profession (whether this means base profession or advanced one, I don't know). My guess is that Politician would be a new base profession. Hopefully, if the Politician isn't elected as mayor of a player city, they would still have other abilities they could use in the meantime. I guess we'll have to stay tuned to find out...

Hmmm, a Politician Dancer...an interesting combo...
