Hey Dancers!
I'm the mayor of a city on Dantooine called New Hope, we are north of the Agro Outpost, and are a rebel city with three rebel guilds currently living in town. We are a metropolis with the improved job market specialization, we have A TON of grinders come into town and are proud of it, I would estimate (though some guildies have claimed higher numbers) that we get through the entire day between 100 diff players on a slow day and about 300 on a busy day, and at any given moment during peak times there could be as many as 2 full solo groups going, and recently we have seen an increase.
So I'm putting this out there:
If your a master Dancer or someone going dancer who wants a place other than an NPC cantina to perform come to New Hope on Dantooine!
we've got enough traffic in there during peak hours that tips for heals/buffs would be a great source of income, our guild also has a bunch of Docs so with known entertainers in town I'm confident we could take a sizable sum of the business from Mining outpost since many go there for ent buffs and come back to grind.
Being part of a player city cantina allows you a great level of control, you can ban from the building and/or from the city those you have poor dealings with. That is of course in addition to being able to already deny service to individuals, also you would be part of an active guild, part of our family. We are pretty active, PvE stuff like the Vette, and "attempts" at the Deathwatch bunker, also raids and other stuff that goes on you will more than likely be one of the guilds favorite people buffing the ever vulnerable mind. Oh, don't forget the ability to place a vendor in the cantina if you're also a crafting prof like a chef or something. Our cantina is the center of life in town, the mission terminals are right outside as are all 15 of our trainers (which include most combat profs and right now a Merchant and Architect trainer).
I can guarantee you will not be dissapointed performing in our cantina. Stop on by check the place out, even if you don't want to join the guild or the city, or your in a guild already which doens't have a city you can perform all you like. Our citizens are good folks, you won't be dissapointed.
Best Route:
Fly to Agro Outpost on Dantooine, we are a 4min swoop ride north-north/east. Make a wp for the city on the the planetary map, our cantina is direclty next door to the city hall, opposite the trainers garden. Or just shuttle in, shuttle is right on the city square, you'll see cantina from shuttle.
Also I'm not just looking for people who are entertainers in profession, I'm looking for people who are entertainer minded. Our city has a museum, a theater, and soon we will be putting back the med center (despite it having no purpose), we have in the past had weekly and monthly events like PvP tournaments and guild meetings/parties. The sky is the limit for player events, I've had ambitions for city festivals, Swoop races, and even host talks between rebel guilds.... there is so much that can be done, I'd really like to hear who out there is interrested, and if your not interrested what are your concerns?
Thanks for reading my long post
