I don't know how well this would work as it just popped into my head. It is not in any way a fully developed idea yet.

I know that one of the recommendations that has been made is that people just pick up Novice Entertainer. The counter argument is that the Skill Points are much to dear to put 15 of them into the skill. What if the developers reduced the SP cost of the Basic Novice Skills to 10. I think this would free up enough points in most templates for at least an even exchange.

I realize that this may just change the uber templates to be more uber. However, if you want the most fantastic and powerful combat template, there are skills that you must forgo.

In a PvP environment, which would you rather have, a toon with the best combat template with 500 BF and30% mind woundsor a toon with a pretty decent combat template with 0 BF and 0% mind wounds (because you used 15 skill points for NE). It may very well be an even match.

I'll admit that this may not work in PvE scenario, but I feel that there are some critters and locations in this game that should not be hunted solo. As it stands now, a fully buffed character with the right food, drink, spice, and armor can solo a Krayt Dragon Ancient with almost no problem. I'm sorry, but that is just wrong. Just my humble opinion.

Many people already have novice medic. Drop novice medic, pickup novice entertainer, heal, drop it, then pick novice medic back up. People have been doing that for quite a while. With the new droid quests, you get padi for it too ( once). You can also grab 2 entertainer missions for the cantina, and get paid for it that way too ( 300 credits goes a long way)

HOWEVER, I'd rather see them simply boost the rate of BF healing that a cantina can do. Currently its 6 points healed in just over 10 minutes ( tested this on my ranger day before yesterday). Typical play session I gain 400 BF. That would be uhmmmmm, just over 16 hours to heal I can sit in a med center for 15 minutes, and heal all but the most extensive of wounds. Sitting for 30 minutes to heal my BF with no entertainer around would be annoying, but livable.
