Maybe this has been raised already.
Maybe the video is a fake.
Maybe I have no clue what I am talking about.
Still - I have had this video around since the publish with new dances - can't remember where it came from.
Any info on why this is so cool and the breakdance we got is, well, missing 90% of these moves it seems it SHOULD have.
Clicky keeps adding forum link - use regular copy/paste for now link is www.beldoch.com/breakdance2.wmv
Someone has to know where this came from and where those moves went, if they ever existed at all.
Hook a shim up and fill me in on the details please....
This is hosted on my regular website so please be bandwith kind - download it to a local file if you are gonna re-watch it multiple times.
EDIT: Clicky went nuts - Please Excuse and use regular link or clicky a few posts downif its busted

Testing fresh post for working clicky.
Ok I don't know what bug crawled up the forum's rear today but it's adding to all my clickies.
Ignore the clickies and tell me what you think of the video.
Where are those HOT moves! ? !

I can't view it at work right now, but if it's the video I think it is with the breakdance moves in standing, midlevel, and ground level with the transitions, then we were talking about this a while back when they released breakdance as a new dance. I found the one thread about transitions that has some more info on what you're asking about. There might have been another one around the same time that had a little more on it too, but I could find it if I remember it correctly. Hope this helps.

Thanks - you set me on the right track for answers. Yes, that was the movie.
Basically yes this is legit video, no we cant do those moves, who knows if we ever will.
Best facts I can come up with are these:
*Many things are in the .tre files that are not available in game
*These 'resources' in the game files can include unused animations
*Animations exist for more (read: real) brakedancing and other cool moves that we do not (yet) have access to.
*These animations as well as those for the most recent 'new' dances were coded LONG before being considered for release.
*Some VERY CLEVER person must have taken data from the .tre files and somehow made the game engine animate it locally for capture.

I can only hope that these sick animation make it into LIVE - sorry again for the busted clicky but the forum keeps killing my clickies today.
Gotta say, it kinda bugs me to see how much of the 'content' dribbled out from time to time has been coded since the dark ages.
It's like the parent that keeps a bag of trinkets in the closet to pull out from time to time to distract a fussy child.

Wow that's awesome. Why on earth haven't they been activated? Maybe been forgotten about? During position 3, flourishes 5-8 got me all in the mood for hitting the dance floor myself. WOOOO! It's Friday night! ( GMT
)

Wow! I've never aspired to be an entertainer but if THOSE moves were in the game i'd be all over this!
Seems that there once was a helluva vision for a lot of aspects in this game... but give anything to corporate America and vision becomes obsolete.
Developer RP saga 1
"Corporate Guru's: We need to have another meeting about the status of this meeting."
*Two weeks later*
"Corporate Guru's: "Now lets talk about the issues from last meeting"
*three hours later*
"Well it's clear that we need to have another meeting regarding the initial meeting, but we should have a meeting to discuss that first."
*yawn* *cough* *vision ..... fading ... *
"Developer X: But boss, can't I just implement.... i mean ... it would be easy... i can do it on my time... i swear... but ... please...
*Six months later*
"New Corporate Crew: Sincethe previous teams meetings didn't determine if we should have more meetings on this issue, we're going to move forward with project x"
*Developer X has left the building*
*6 months later*
"Boss: Just outsource this sh#$"
*The end*

The current breakdance is more like... rebelling then anything. I know I'd be willing to go through another dancer's quest or spend another 300k dance xp to be able to do windmills, lol.
Theatrical is cool but lets face it, that would be so much more worth it.
