Logged in today, and usually do a little dancing before I go anywhere, so I start up my fourish sequence so I can check the timing of a new dance I'm working on, and turns out that now I'm not flourishing. So I check and turns out no dance commands are working while within a macro. Can't stopdance, can't startdance, and can't changedance either. In fact looks like the only way to flourish is to actually use the action button that's under the other tab. Forget about my 8 macro's for bandflourish, now you'll have to type out the command on the command line if you want a group in sequence.
What's going on?
What's going on?

Just checked on 3 of my chars..no problem with my self-created toolbar buttons. You might want to check with other dancers on your server to see if they're having the same problem (the chars I checked are on Chilastra, Bria and Ahazi).

Had a similar problem few days ago.
None of my macros was working. None. Just didn't start. Neither from the toolbar, using /macro, double clicking in the ctrl-A list, or the macros i've bound to keys.
They started working again after I had relogged.
Another guildmate had the same problem as well, guess you have it too.

Okay, if I even had any combat macro's I'd probably have guessed it was me first. But looks like none of my macro's are working at all... Maybe it's just me.
Relogging now...
I was thinking back to the posting they'd made about removing recursive macro's and thought maybe they'd done something similar or even more extreme. Okay back in game, testing...
Yeah it was just me. Sorry if I freaked anyone out. Hope they start dealing with the game instability and bugs, I'm starting to feel like I'm back a few months into launch.

/comfort No worries. This periodically happens to me, even sometimes right in the middle of a session. I've never found a way around just having to relog and I've tried just about everything short of sacrificing a nuna on the bar. But glad you got it to work finally. It can definitely be frustrating to suddenly have your macros, be they dance routines, songs, or creature harvesting, suddenly stop working.

This is a BUG that I have encountered many times. If you type /dump, you will see that even macros that are quick one or twoliners and neither loop nor have pauses in them were "paused" and will now be "dumped." The solution is to either log out or leave the planet and return.

I've had this problem with macros too and I usually cure it by going to the 'edit macro' screen and then hitting OK, this seems to reset the macro and it works fine for me

My macros break all the time. They always have. I used to just delete all of them and that would fix it, but that stopped working a while ago. Half the time I just go with out now, heh. I think it may be my machine.

It is probably a file in the profile for that character. In the Profiles folder, you'll find a folder for the account (if you have multiples) and then one foreach server where the account has a character. Move the folder for the server to the desktop and restart the client. After the files in the folder have been rebuilt, rebuild your toolbar and see if that fixes it. When client crashes, the files in these folders tend to corrupt. Over time little problems crop up; like macros and aliases not working, lighting effects failing..remember my problem with /bandflos? Lei had a corruption that caused tons of windows to be launched within the client everytime she logged into the game. Rebuilding the files fixed it. Now I zip & save a clean copy of my Profiles folderwhen I successfully launch after a big patch (if I experience any trouble after the patch, I don't save it until I'm sure any problems have been hotfixed).Makes it much easier to get myself back in game after corruption problems (which I had a lot of recentlyfrom tons of crashes while my cpu was dying and I was being cheap).
