I have recently done both combat and entertainer missions wile in a group (I have not done any artisan etc missions so don't know if this applies to those as well) and have discovered that ent missions are now even MORE inferior to combat missions due to the way that mission payouts work now.
The difference is as follows:
- Combat Missions: every member of the group gets the FULL payout listed on the mission terminal.
- Entertainer Missions: the payout is divided among the group members.
So... are entertainers NOT supposed to group? or is it just that our missions are STILL a joke?

I guess that slipped through their attention when they changed the way combat missions work. Shouldn't be to much trouble to get it fixed if we asked for it.
PS: Don't you already get FP for factional dancer missions??

Also Note..
I had an Idea befor that instead of our missions always sending us to cantinas to perform that sometimes thet might send us out into the wild (Distance to depend on CL)to "perform" for NPC combatants, and that after your performance you could take to the NPC's. The morethe NPC liked it, the better a change you had of geting some kind of usefull item from theNPC. The items would be random loot items from the planet you were performing on..
This could also work as a kind of faction Missions ending in being awared FP for Performing for you faction (or the faction you want to join) teh loot would still work the same way

Yes - I think there still are factioned dance, crafting, surveying, and maybe even some other types of missions. The only way to get them, though is to to find random-spawned, factioned NPC's in wilderness areas of planets. Some will give various types of missions that include those that I listed. It's basically luck to find them and get them though. Completing these missions from the factioned NPC's would result in some small FP reward as well as the payout. I had always wondered why they never added these factioned missions to the faction mission terminals since the mission types themselves do exist. It's not really worth it to go out and look for them, though, unless you just want to.

Man, too bad they only spawn in the wilderness. I've went to the Emperor's Retreat and done my"Poplock for Palpatine" routinemany, many times for fun. It's worth it just to see the spatial statements I get from folks running through the theme park.

Yeah, my Master Dancer/Master Creature Handler/0-4-3-0 Brawler was once "lucky" enough to get one of these from an NPC way out in the middle of nowhere and got a whopping 15 Faction Points... not really enough to make it worth while braving the dangers to get to the mission giver even if you could be sure of finding one that was definately going to give you an entertainer mission. The only types of missions you can get from a factioned mission terminal though are combat or delivery.

I've asked about and am awaiting a response regarding the difference in payout method between entertainer & combat groups. I've never had a factioned entertainer mission complete for me (haven't tried one in a while) so I can't say if you get faction points for them.

Mhm..on very rare occasions I'll find them in the middle of nowhere..on Talus (or somewhere similarly deserted). If you find yourself asking why or how you even got there..then you're in the right sort of place.
