Thread: Help with Exotic 1 & 2

Ok,
So last night I finally got dance knowledge 4......and tried the 2 new dances I got. Exotic one looked funny, my arms didn't even wave at the same time. And flourish 1-4 all were the same, a slow spin with my arms down, floursih 5-8 were the same a fast shake spin. Exotic 2 only had 2 good looking flourishes, 1 and 2, 3 is the same as 2, and 4-8 did that shake spin thing. Is it just me, or are these dances broke? Is there some way to make them look good? I want to use them to get max exp to work up the tech tree now, but want to look good doing it. I finally ended up doing exotic 2 last night with just flourish 1 and 2. Please help!

That's all the flourishes we get with those dances, sadly.
I usually dance Exotic 2 (when I dance exotic, which depends entirely on the music being played, since exotic is really only appropriate for 3 of the songs), and use F2 the most. I use F1 to start and end the dance, and then just F2, F2, F2. Which is kind of boring... but F1 doesn't look "right" to me if done back to back. F2 looks like a very good part of the exotic2 dance.

Exotic 1 is an important dance after you have all of them and here is why. Exotic 1 base dance has you dancing with your arms up a lot but does smoothly bring them down to your sides. Exotic 4 is all arms up dancing. So I use exitic 1 to get my arms down smoothly to get back into exotci 2 and 3 then there is a flourish in 3 that brings my arms up (flourish 3) that lets me smoothly get to exotic 4 then its back to 1 and repeat. In this way I can use all the flourishes from all the dances and look smooth.

Ok, thanks for the advice.....I must be doing exotic one wrong becaus it looks jerky whenI do it and I got so frustrated I didn't wait to see if my arms went down. I guess I just was so excited to finally make it to the top of a tree and to try my new dances that I expected more. Kinda disappointing to find they don't work that well. Hopefully someday they will fix it. And until they I will keep playing around until I get a combo that looks good !
