Thread: Does anyone know a way to change facing?
Is there a command I can use to change my facing? With my dance macro running (not an AFK macro) I often get turned around backwards. It's annoying. I can face the proper way by targeting someone in front of me and typing /wink or something...
But what I really want to know is:
Is there a /changeFacing command or something that will turn me around or to the side?
oops, you mean you want to change facing in a macro?
Sorry, have no idea, but there are a lot of macro experts lurking about, so I am sure that one of them knows the answer.
But they might not want to post it here because they are tired of the negative feedback from the "lemons for breakfast" crowd.
There isn't a rotate command in that sense no. The answer given above is the one I use most regularly when dancing. You can achieve the same with the keys on you numpad if you have them configured that way. You can smile at a person to turn (this of course assumes you are at the keyboard to do so).
The other method which is probably going to be the one you work with for your purpose is to use the existing flourishes to change direction. You need to know your flourishes inside out back to front to do it, but it is perfectly possible. Just use one of the flos that turns/moves in the direction you want to go then /changedance at the right point and you will be facing the new direction.
Hope that makes sense. Best thing for you to do is play with it ![]()
I thought that /ui action targetSelf will target yourself and thus change your facing.
(have not tried this yet though )
