I've read the post on top of the board but I'm still confused. I just got Novice Dancer so I have some questions.

a) How much / long will my buff be if I'm only novice?

b) Is it pretty much pointless to do a mind buff until you are a higher lvl dancer?

c) What lines help the buff?

1) At Novice Dancer and with no skills in the Techniques line, your buff will be 10% of the customer's mind pool. Therefore, if their mind is 1000, you can buff it 100 extra points for a total of 1100 mind. I am not sure how long it would last, though. I haven't done any research on it.

2) While I am in the Anchorhead tavern healing patients, sometimes the lower level dancers will /setperform for me. I really appreciate it because even if it is only 100 extra mind points, that's an extra heal without resting. However, I wouldn't charge for a buff (if you are going to charge) unless you either have Techniques IV or Master. So, if there are medics healing you and you wish to try it out, I'm sure they would be very appreciative.

3)The techniques line will help thebuffs. At Techniques III, your buff will be 50%, at Techniques IV it will be 75% and at master, 100%. I forget what % Techniques I and II give.

Thanks for the info.. Does anyone know what Techniques 2 gives and how long the buffs last at these lower levels.

I plan on going master dancer... But I just want to know if I'm wasting people's time buffing them at these early levels.

Hey Ewok, basically just look at the skill bonus you get for each level of Technique. At novice you start with +10 Mind Enhancement, at each level of Technique you get another + to your Mind enchanment skill up to a total of +100 at Master (which is a 100% buff) so just add up the total amount of + Mind Enchanment skill you have or will have and convert that into a percentage. If you have 40 skill you'll buff someone for 40%. Also the Max duration is2 hours at Master and I believe that is percentage based as well, so if you only have 50 skill you're buff is only going to last an hour instead of two.
