I'm sorry if this has been posted previously, but I'm really wondering ig there is a macro that exists for making the dancer do flourishes and whatnot while you are away from the keyboard. If there is such a macro, please let me know the command lines so that I can create it on my character. Thanks!!

Yes, you can macro to Master Dancer. Never touch the keyboard. Never interact with a single player. All the while, spamming for tips.

Read a page or three into this forum's history and you'll see all the macro information you need. You might even find some stickied to the top of the forum.

But I'm not repeating it here.

I think it's better that I don't know. Even though I probably wouldn't do it, it might become tempting. I don't need to know.

I didn't realize it was posted elsewhere.. I'm new to this forum. I still don't need pointless comments though.. the location of the thread with the macros would have helped. Reading comprehension is a life skill. Thanks.

The point is that anyone who seriously wants macro information can get it with only a token effort.

Posting a request on this forum is an invitation for trouble, and maybe even a deliberate attempt to cause trouble.

New to the forum or not, I believe what was being implied was that there is a search function. You will find that there are a good number of people who believe that AFK macroing damages the image of the entertainment professions,be itpeople doing it simply because a Holocron said so- AND not taking the AFK macro somewhere that no one has to see it (an empty building perhaps) , or just random people. AFK macroing does not seem to be very welcome among the community who has pride in their work.

There is a search function at the bottom of the forum pages that'll help you out I am sure. But with all Macros you make them up yourself.

I do have to ask, if you are doing it for a Holo, fine. I'm sure you didn't want this profession, but for goodness sake, please do the AFK dancing not in a cantina. Get the entertainer healing exp last if you have to. Or at the very least, do not insert spamming for tips like so many others do.

Do not ask about macros...you will cause a hissy fit.

Macros can be used both good (to ease having to hit the same keys over and over for an hour) or bad (AFK). I am a master dancer and I use macros all the time. I have one that repeats my flourish pattern over and over. I have a second that does light effects. I have a 3rd and 4th that run 8 and 13 minute timers for buffing people/groups including a starting message telling the player what to do, a midway message so they know its still going and an end message telling them to /stopwatch. Macros have their uses. Do not let people tell you that you are any less of a player for using a macro rather than mashing the same keys over and over every 10 seconds. Using macros to run while you are AFK...thats a different issue.

For the record, if you're doing it for a Holo, you pretty muchhave to do it in a cantina... or at least where you can heal BF. Because you need the healing experience to get the Master title. Yes, you could do it all on mind wounds, but it would take longer.

Just don't be obnoxious if you're in a public spot. No spamming anything and stay out of the middle of the floor.

And yeah. What I meant to say was if you're too lazy to look through 2-3 pages of posts to find your information, I'm not going to help you because it raises my concern about how you're going to behave in your macro.
