Hello everyone,
I have an alt char, master dancer, which I use to buff myself and the guild.
I'd like to free up some points but still be able to buff. The two ideas I have are:
4-0-0-0:
This would give 80% mind buffs, right?
4-0-4-0:
This would give 80% mind buffs, and faster buffing since I can use more advanced dances, right?
I'd like some feedback on this idea, especially the gain of having 4-0-4-0 compared to just 4-0-0-0? Is there a major difference here that motivates this tree?
Regards,

No, we can not buff our own minds (we'd like to
), he's talking about buffing his main.
What motivates the 0-0-4-0 for the majority of posters, are the dances themselves. A lot of us just enjoy the pretty dances because we think they are cool or some other less technical reason like that. Our dancers are our mains for most of us.
The 4-0-0-0 gives a 75% (not 80) mind buff with out SEAs.
I personally am not sure how much each Dance Knowledge + point translates into duration of buff. It is discussed quite a bit in the Buffing Thread linked to in our Useful Links sticky. I do know that if you plan to be using the 30 sec work around it doesn't really matter though (may be an exploit and"nerfed" soon).
You get 40+ at novice, 80+ at 0-0-4-0, and 90+ at master... I'm just not sure what the math per tick is.
If another poster thinks they have a solid answer on this and wants to post it, go for it. Just please be mindful of our many varied Dancer playstyles if you do. Be polite, or move along.
Let's not flame the "power dancer" kids... they live here too now and we'd like to have solid answers for this anyway.
