Thread: Entertainer Awareness Day Event

Panthusuggested I create a new message for this event so I'm copying and pasting what I just put on the Bria event thread (and praying I got it all correct because I still can't get EDIT to work). I can't lay claim to this idea - Doasa, master musican and the owner of theFifth River Cantina in Four Rivers City, Corellia, Bria is the mastermind here!


Name of Event: Entertainer Awareness Day
In-game Contact: Doasa
Location: Coronet Theater, Corellia

Date: Sunday, April 18
Time: 4pm ET

Purpose of Event:


To launch the first Entertainer Awareness Day event being held on Bria in the Coronet Theatre this Sunday at 4pm ET. We are asking that as many dance/musician/ent. masters (along withthose with novice musician and dancer) attend as possible to offer training, inspiration and awareness of our professionto new entertainers and non-entertainers alike. We are encouraging non-entertainers to pick up the novice entertainer skill and find out how much fun entertaining can be and what a nice group of LIVE people we are. We would like for established entertainers on other servers to consider creating characters to attend this event and/or hold similar events on your servers. We are also asking for some tailors to attend and provide clothing for the newer entertainers, as well as for established entertainers to donate costumes. Come prepared to have fun and make new friends!

that's a great idea. just too bad i have two reasons i cant attend, number2 is my computer is out for repairs and i am using somebody elses computer, and number1 is i turn 21 on the 17th, and most likely will be out of town and hung over on the 18th heh

I think this is a great idea! It serves three functions:


1. Helps new Dancers get set up and educated on the possibleways to play a Dancer in a fairly confusing time


2. Educates the non-Entpublic in a positive and fun way


3. Is a great role model for effecting change in a constructive way


Good job to everyone involved! Yay!

I so wish I could make this event... but it's at the same time as another of Riis' roleplaying events on Ahazi. Oh well, maybe next time.

Well I do hope to see you next time Deila, I'm certain there will be more. We have a great bunch of Ents here on Bria, (of course Lei is a little prejudiced in this area ) and we love helping out fledgling Ents. I'm sure a good time is guaranteed for all. Also a a nice round of applause to Doasa the mastermind behind this. /stand ;/applaud ;Doasa ;/cheer

I'm a Master Dancer on Lowca, but I'll try to be there with a new character to see how the party goes

Like Doasa said there is a small correction to Kirah's initial post. It will be in the Theed Theatre not the Coronet. I hope to see everyone there.

Please forgive a simple Australian, ie non-American, what is timezone is ET? i live in +10GMT. can someone convert it for me please as SOE only convert PST to my time. i've tried searching Google but am not really sure what i should be looking for.
