Hey everyone I had a question about dancer. I was dancing for 3 buff sessions, thats 9 hours of dancing in cnet cantina. I ended up getting a skill box and a half. I was in a full group at the time as well. Is dancer really that slow? if so i can see why people set up their macros and come back a couple weeks later for training, then go another couple weeks lol.

the above post should make no sense, should be offensive, and should get flamed. the ideas contained herein should be absurd and insane. If for some reason the above post shows compassion, intelligence, sanity, or kindness I highly suggest you run like hell, a major change has just ripped through the world.

That really depends. What box was it ?

Oh, now that sounds pretty slow for Dance XP, buffed, in a full group. If you are talking about "dancing xp", it sounds like you need to be flourishing more often. If you have a quickness buff, you can do them back to back. Start the next one as soon as the last ends if you are doing them by hand, about 10 secs apart is a fairly standard macro pause.

You have /flo 1-8 with each new dance, but the animations aren't always unique. If it's Entertainer Healing XP you are after, then yes, it really can be that slow. /comfort

dancing techniques 1 was the box i got, my macro goes like this

/startdance poplock;

/flourish;

/pause 10;

/flourish;

/pause 10;

/flourish

everyone tells me i'm doing it right but i have to be doing something wrong. theres gotta be a faster way

You have to call the numbered flourish... there are 8 in all... but, if you have made it all the way to Novice Dancer... am I missing something? Does you macro have numbers after the /flourish? Or no?

yeah i have the numbers after the flourish in my macro, idk why i didnt put them up here

does your macro loop or does it just end after 3 flourishes?

Altho im a newbie dancer, from whatI have seen in the past few days is that, dancing xp is very very slow to come in. I am using this macro:

/startdance <highest dance>

/flourish 1

/pause 8

/flourish 2

/pause 8

/flourish 3

/pause 8

/flourish 4

/pause 8

/flourish 5

/pause 8

/flourish 6

/pause 8

/flourish 7

/pause 8

/flourish 8

<loop>

I am always in a group of 20, and am fully buffed and it STILL takes hours and hours and hours per box! I know exactly how you feel, but i think this is just the way its supposed to be.....

...............or am I doing something wrong too?

You should do Dancing Knowledge 1-4 first, and use your most current dance's. that will get you more xp
