Thread: Stuck on Neutral...

I keep doing the dancer quest but when I get to neutral the audience seems to stall. I do all the dances and flourishes they say they want and it sits on neutral for the last 2 minutes of the dance. I don't know what else to do. I just did it and failed again at neutral. I did one dance then changed dance to the other that they had wanted to see and did flourishes from that dance. It quickly went from Unsatisfied to Neutral but wouldn't budge into the positives at all. Anyone know of a way to goose the audience's happiness or something? I can't keep waiting 24 hours to log in and maybe have a crack at this.

Are you mixing in other flourishes or only doing the two they say they like? It is important from what I've seen to mix in a few others. Avoid the ones they don't like, obviously, but don't simply spam the one or two flourishes they say they like.

When I reached the neutral rating with my first successful try I then threw in a couple of flourishes that they hadn't asked for but which were not the flourish they had indicated they did not like. I then went back to the flourish they said they liked and got a satisfied rating. On my second audition I also briefly switched dances, just for about one flourish, and then switched back to the dance they had asked for. This was a quick thing and may not have actually managed to increase the rating but I did pass the audition.

Good luck and hang in there.

yes I had tossed in a few flourishes that they didn't say they wanted. Also some light show stuff. Only problem is they are saying they like floruish 7 but I get 2 dances usually on the last one that they want to do. I do the flourish for that and when I eventually switch dances I will do the flourish again for the new dance. There just isn't enough time on these to really put the ratings up it seems. I can't seem to get anyone to help me talk to the NPC's but I never have a problem with them it is just the rating process that is killing me. I can talk to all of the NPC's before time starts. Sometimes 2 or 3 times through.

Thanks for the help.

try doing every dance and every flourish. Just eliminate what they don't like. Might be best to run a marco where you start at basic and then /changed basic and so on. then write a macro for all the flourishes. If you find out they don't like something, just eliminate it from your macro and you're good to go.

Don't limit flourishing to visible flourishes. Our flourishes take time, some of then a LOT of time, considering the time frame we're given to perform on stage.

I was stuck at Neutral until I just gave up and spammed ALL the flourishes EXCEPT the ones they specifically did not like. I also changed dances to any dance EXCEPT the ones they specificanlly did not like.

Don't limit your performance to just the dances and flourishes they like. (I did that a bit too, and it didn't help)

This all may not work for you, but at least if you try it you'll know for sure whether it was worth bothering with for your character or not.

Thanks again. I will give it a shot. I just got off of work but won't be able to actually try again until 5:50am EST so I have to stay awake to do this hehe.
