It's been so much fun lately! No bots or threat of bots.(Players don't need buffs in space.) Plenty of traffic with players heading in to speak with Lady Valarian to continue the Freelance pilot training. Good conversation. Moderate roleplay.

Perhaps both the devs and ourselves can pull something from this atmosphere

Take the hint guys. No dependence, other draws to the cantina, and ATK entertainment = u-friggin'-topia.

Yes, I started a new character on Starsider and the first place I took her was the LD. In the short span of 15 minutes that I had left to play there she surprised half a dozen aspiring pilots (all of whom /watch-ed her without her asking and stopped for several minutes to talk) and was tipped rather nicely, too! Good fun!

Oh, and Til - she's a Twi . . . .

Guess I'll have to come party it up with Kirah in the Lucky Despot! Awww yeah

The traffic through there is pretty nice, and people are glad to stop and get the BF healed up.

I've been hanging out there on Bria lately. No buttbots because people going into space don't need buffs. Few AFKers becuase there isn't a large group in there, and when there is, we don't let the AFKers stay in the group regardless of space. Makes me even more certain that stripping buffs away from us might actually be a grand thing to do.

Good luck on them making money as a buffbot there. People in spaceships have no need of buffs from what I understand, and the only reason that place has life all of a sudden is because pilots go there for missions.

The person running that bot is a moron.

Buffs are meaningless in space but so is BF and mind damage. However between missions it is nice to get healed up just so it doesn't get too big and take too long to heal when you return to the ground game. So yes I can see this as a great place to meet pilots, get some experience, and have a nice time entertaining. The cantina even has a stage making entertaining even more organized and realistic looking than the general floor area.

Yeah, but I'm not in there to get experience. I'm there to have fun, and some of the pilots actually stop and are friendly and happy to take a short break to have a bit of social time. And yes, I like the setup, though the stage is kinda small. It's intimate, well lit and far better suited to performance then a normal cantina.

It really falls more into the line of what I'd expect a SW casino to be. I'm not sure what the devs had in mind with all the extra rooms and levels since they are empty for the most part (save the infrequent NPC). It's kind of like the compound in Mos Eisley with all those empty underground rooms.

I don't know about the person who set up a buffbotbeing a moron, but they apparentlydidn't think through it clearly. The other option is that their intent is to actually grief live entertainers who justwant to have fun there, which I hope isn't the case.

War, I don't know how often I'll be playing on Starsider, to be honest. Her name is Glin Olim, though.

Fine, be that way.

Think I'm going to make that my new entertainment hang-out. I think it's really cool in there. I'm glad they put something in the Lucky Despot to draw some crowds, it deserves it.

Hmm, Tral doesn't like Tatooine much. The sands and suns don't do good things for Mon Calamari. But he might head out to visit you when he checks up on his shop there.
