Dancer Archive
Thread: Don't just take a break if you are at your breaking point...Instead, write this guy/magazine...
I know you were responded too by the devs, but frankly, the way they have gone about public relations with this class has been dissapointing to say the least...Many classes within SWG *need* help, however, many are getting help in the form of a combat revamp, or at least "announced" revamps of their own (even if they were delayed countless times, ala smuggler)..
The point is, you *deserve* to at least have some thoughtful communication/insight on where things are headed. You deserve more then "we will get to it, perhaps you should take a break until then." You deserve a dev giving you his thoughts on how they can help your class. You deserve to play the game that you were promised when you bought SWG...
Most of you have paid over 200$ so far on this game (some much more)....You would *not* expect to pay so much for another product and not have it work...You certainly would not expect the CS to tell you "Sorry, we will fix it withing the next 9 months, can't tell you more then that."
SoE has done everything short of threatening you dancers and it has to stop....You and the other ignored classes in SWG (rangers/SL come to mind) need to make your voices heard. You do *not* ask for much, you are only asking whether your time/money invested in this product is worth-while and if SoE plans to support this class in any way ( as well as how they intend to do it).
Thats why I am asking everyone to write in to this man. Make the letters polite, concise and to the point...Tell him your issues, as well as what is broken about the game. I will try posting a diffrent editor's adressevery few days, if I am restricted by a mod from doing so, then I will get an email list going (or an alternate board) where I can get you their adresses....
Make SoE give you the same respect it gave to other classes....Entertainers do not require much, just a small glimpse of the plan or some reassuracethat thefuture for this class is secure....Frankly, every class deserves the bone that smugglers were thrown (no, it was not much, but it was something)...So please, write in to this person first, as he was the one who had previously written the article on Jedi, and I believe his magazine was where Holocron touted that entertainers would be a "new and exiting type of class, with a fun/interactive role in the game!" (verbatim)...Well, now its time for them to know how interactive this class has become...

Thanks you and again, sorry for cluttering your boards ![]()
Edit: Also, I aplogize to Tyrant if I sound overly-militant
.....I thought Tyrant was very nice comming here and being frank with everyone, I just also think that a little more time could be spent communicating with certain classes, rather then having CSR's police them for trying to play their class...

Word of mouth is the best advertisement for any product. I'm sure that this game will continue on though as long as people are willing to pay for two accounts or more just to take the place of the active players that left because SoE was apathetic to any customer but the over achiever.
