I am looking into getting into the doc feild, but my question is what branch up the tree do I need to be to JUST BUFF. I am plenty of other ways to get resourses and all that I just want to be able to buff in the 2000. I know I can get the clothes to enhance some of my skills in the med feild and some skill tapes. like I said I would like some guidance on the level up the tree I need. Thanks.

To get the bare minimum using level C buffs you would need 0-2-3-0.

To get the bare minimum using level D buffs you would need 0-2-4-0.

I would recommend getting at least 0-4-4-0 which would give you some better enhances (not as good as a Master Doc though). Plus you would be able to Revive other people.

Either way you're gonna have to find someone who sells Enhance packs.

Good luck!

And even at Master Doctor with BE clothing and 110 Med Droid you're not guaranteed to hit 2000+ all the time. Plus at 0-4-4-0 the doctor making your packs will have to experiment the med use down from 93 to 90 for you to use the packs. This is just more experimentation points that they can't use on the power of the packs, so your packs will be weaker.

Yeah, they'll be weaker, but if you can find a Doctor that has two extra experimentation points (through skill attachments)to spend then you'll be fine. This allows them to spend the extrapointslowering the "use" skill to 90 or below, while keeping thenormal amount of points for the"power".

With BE clothing (+25 injury/wound treatment) your wound treatment skill will be at 100 with the 0-4-4-0 setup. That's as much as a Master Doc has who doesn't use BE clothing.

But like the others have said, you won't be able to buff for 2k every time...however, we'll have to see if we can *override* bad buffs come the next publish. Then you can just keep buffing until you get all 2k buffs.

Ok i read this somewhere and now i can't find it again, maybe i'm blind but, i know you can buff at 0-4-4-0 with Novice Doctor, now if you buffed someone and you are a Master Doctor are they much better?

less people want a master dances buff theese days because of the brandy etc.. and other foods. That means less things to do for a master dancer... What would really help master dancers was to increase their buff from 2 hours to 3 hours... then they would synchronize better with the docs buffs aswell and hunters would be more willing to take it.,

I think one of the problems is that most people out there don't know that they can combine dancer and musician buffs with food buffs.

Alot of the time when people refuse a buff from me and say "Why should I wait when I can just take brandy?", I'll answer telling them that dancer buffs stack with Brandy and Muon. Most of the time their response is "Really?!?"

Moral of the story: Get the word out! The only people that work at knowing how this mind buffing thing works is us entertainers! We need to educate everyone else

Yep we definitely need to get the word out that these buffs can be stacked...all the better for everyone heehee plus I think a problem is that there is a reputation for most dancers going afk all the time...so it might dishearten people a little bit heh and make the brandy more appealing blah...so seriously what I can say is that we need to get the word out and always be live with people...who wants to sit there for 8 minutes or so and stare blankly at an afk dancer when they would rather be on their way???? So to prevent these afkers I think that a revamp of dancer should make the prof a lil harder than making your macro and dancing away....so yeah ok im babbling..all im saying is that this is one of the main reasons why people probably would wanna just drink the brandy..SO get the word OUT!

The misconception about buffs isvery frustrating. I've posted on my server board several times trying to explain entertainer buffs and people just don't get it! When I say it takes a little over 3 minutes, I'll see two replies down a non dancer saying it takes over ten minutes because of the latest patch. People will bug me in a starport for buffs while I'm waiting for a shuttle and never believe that I can't buff there and get mad because I want to catch a shuttle. I've explained to patron after patron how to receive a buff, and how they work, which I don't mind doing...It just makes me wonder why so few people don't know!? Then there's the brandy issue...how many people are missing out on a great asset because they don't know!?

I don't buff for my income. I view myself as mostly a combat dancer: I heal and buff at various raids, and take care of my guildies. Most of the time I'm out hunting nightsisters, so I can't image what it's like to deal with it daily and rely on it to make credits. When I am buffed and boredI will wander into a cantina or two and make some extra credits on the side, and this is when I mostly run into various buff questions and myths. I do try to educate my community...which is the only solution I can think of to the whole dancer issueso far

It probably doesn't help that these buffs have never beenofficially documented, they should do a friday feature on it or something.
