Thread: Developer input needed
Will you please keep my characters in the database until you revamp my game play and make the game enjoyable for me again? If not I will just take my money elsewhere.
Thanks in advance.

You have also stated through the dancer correspondent that we are to cancell our accounts until such time as you make our game enjoyable and playable again, fine.
Whoa! That's not exactly what Tyrant said... he said "take a break." You've read it from him now, so don't go saying that I just came out and said "the Devs say we suck and we should all quit!"
It's not exactly like that. I sort of said "this is driving us crazy, we can't stand for our gameplay to be so messed up anymore" and he said that we shouldn't do anything that was making us unhappy.
The revamp is coming, it will take a little while to get here. The macro change is coming, it will take a little while to get here too. There will not be a ban or any CS policy changes dealing with AFK until that happens (what Tyrant was responding to when the comment was first made).
It's just how it is, it will not change, and we shouldn't make ourselves nuts over it. That's what the "take a break" is about.

6 months. That's the officially posted time frame. Actually I had a couple of friends recently come back to find their characters wiped after just four months. They instantly cancelled again.
Ah, well, that figures . . . I would be quite unhappy to come back and find Kirah deleted. But, then - I'm a masochist andenjoythe "grind" back up to master . . .
I'm using the $15 a month I would gladly pay to play a working SWG with friends that also enjoy these kinds of games to play a different game that they have all moved to until such time as the game is repaired per the developer.
My friends that left this game all think this game can not be fixed, will not be fixed and that SoE is a trerrible video game maker and are warning others off their prodcts specifically SWG. I have a tiny bit of faith that the game can be fixed and that it will be fixed but there is no way I am gonna sit at my computer trying to play a game that does not work... No way in hell I am gonna pay for it. Any other service industry or product maker would gladly compensate a customer when they new a problem existed and a fix was not possible in a reasonable amount of time. All I ask is for that type of consideration.
