- Reading the dance-cards that have been done, I noticed that breakdance was left out. Since I had nothing to do today, I have done a breakdown of each flourish. This will not be a dance card, simply because I have too much information to make it reasonable, but rather a list of as many actions in each flourish that I could see. Much of this will be bullets rather than full sentences, and I may have a few actions missing, simply because the breakdance flourishes are fast and fairly long and this is copied nearly directly from written notes. I will be updating this as I get more accurate descriptions, but will have to make new posts each time unless it will let me edit. If you notice any errors in spelling, grammar, or in the flourishes themselves, please point it out.
Flourish 1:
- Right arm punches down towards the left hip while the right leg kicks out to the side slightly and moves behind the left.
- Left arm punches down towards the right hip while the left leg kicks out to the side slightly and moves behind the right.
- There is a quick leg shuffle, and then they spread out.
Flourish 2:
- The right leg crosses in front of the left leg.
- The left leg goes back behind the right leg. (steps 1 and 2 are NOT simultaneous)
- Right leg does a swing and turns the body.
- Your avatar slides backwards and goes into a crouch.
- You avatar stands back up and does a leg spread.
- Avatar returns to the original angle and does a small, stumbling shuffle.
- Kicks left leg and does another small shuffle.
- During all of this, your arms have been accenting leg movements, and spread out at the kick.
Flourish 3:
- Your avatar does a small slide left, then right.
- Small slide back, then legs cross.
- Small slide back again, with right leg going farther back.
- Left knee kicks up and goes out to the left, followed by a step back.
- Previous step is repeated, but exaggerated with a slight pause when the knee reaches its farthest point.
- Avatar takes a step back and then does a swagger forward, while arms spread out at right angles and then come back in cross. (think the commercial with Poser Mobile)
Flourish 4:
- Right slides forward while doing a 90 spin left.
- Right step back, still turned.
- A few quick steps back, and turn 135 degrees right (half of a quarter turn right from original position)
- Take a small step forward, swinging right leg out.
- A full spin, then leans weight on the left leg.
- Ends with Flourish 2, only faster and ending at the crouch.
Flourish 5:
- Reverse "skier" slide backwards. (right, left, right, left, right)
- A small kick left.
- Right leg back quickly.
- Right leg does a slow swing around for spin, seems to grab toes at end.
- A short pause, then small hop/walk back.
- Hop/walk forward, lean forward.
Flourish 6:
- Hands seem to give something to someone near right shoulder.
- Shuffle.
- Spread arms and slight lean (x2)
- Slide right, then left.
- Left knee up and out.
- 90 degree left rotate, then full spin.
- Ends with an almost drunken stagger forwards.
Flourish 7:
- Right step back, small left knee kick.
- 2 steps back, then swagger forward.
- Left leg goes back and slight turn.
- Shuffle.
- Double spin, right leg extends out at end.
- Left knee goes up and out.
- Arms spin around each other in front of body
- Arms hang down at right angles on either side, like carrying a pole across the back and under the elbows.
- Short pause.
- Left leg kicks out in front of right leg and swings back, right leg does a small swing back.
- Leans down.
Flourish 8:
- Right leg swings around front.
- Left leg swings around front.
- Step back while turning.
- Small step, then double spin.
- At end of second spin, touches inside of right leg just behind the knee.
- Quick double stpe back.
- Right leg slides out.
- Step back and smallturn.
- Rapid hand movement, hard to determine exact movements.
- A double spin with the right leg bent at knee and off the ground.
- Legs spread and arms out.
- Right hand slides up the left arm, like rolling up a sleeve.
- Right leg still extended, slight hip wiggle right.
- Arms roll over each other with body turned to right, then turn upper body opposite direction.
There you go. Hopefully, I can get timing done before I go on vacation, but it's pretty unlikely.

After reading the guide for making money in our "new" profession, I decided to bump this, so others will have an easier time making a breakdance/modern routine.

Breakdance2 and Bunduki2 are my favorite high energy dances.
Good info.
