I have had a couple of people tell me that when they went to tip me recently that they got the message "You successfully tip ____ credits to Human." The credits are not transferring to me either.
Can anyone confirm or deny this? (I only have one character so I CAN'T test between alts).

I just checked using 2 of mine and successfully tipped using /tip and /tip bank. There is a character bug right now that is causing someplayer names to show up on guild terminals as their species (ie: instead of your name you would be shown as Human). This is causing the affected players to be kicked from their guild and unable to be added to the guild roster. I have not heard anything about the affected players being unable to receive tips but I could see that happening. Sometimes when I try to bank tip someone who is offline, the message I'll get replaces their name with their species but to my knowledge, these tips have all gone through successfully.

Ah here is another piece to it.. All three that got the message when tryin to tip did so from outside of the structure as they were leaving so could this be a LOS issue?
Hmmm, well I am glad it didn't affect your characters.

I have found that it's not always necessary to use the keyword 'bank' in a tip. Sometimes I've noticed that if the transaction cannot be completed as a regular tip (i.e. you don't have enough money onhand or the person you're tipping is out of range) it will automatically convert the transaction to a bank tip and will verify it by asking you if you agree to the bank tip fee. Not really a bug, it's kind of a handy feature, but it might be affected by this.

I wish it did that all the time if you didint have the money on hand.
