Thread: First Dancer Forum Post....
There's a huge difference between having an alt and having a second character that you play and have fun with. There are those who simply have their own private service provider (or guild service provider)because despite having purchased a massively multiplayer game they don't really want any interaction (or they want the interaction limited).
Enjoy your "other self". My character is a hybrid, half combat and half entertainer. It's my way of having a second character without actually having two accounts. Sounds like you've done something similar but chosen to have two full characters rather than 2 half characters.
I don't know why you'd think you would be flamed, as that was a very nice post. Welcome to the forum!
Hooray! Welcome to the Dancer forums! ![]()
I just recently started posting myself, and I'll hafta say, you've found yourself a great bunch of people with whom to toss around ideas, commiserate, etc.I really feel like the dancers are a true community, kinda like those crazy Smugglers over on the Smuggler forum. Except we have cookies, which are way better than pie.
I don't think that you have even come close to crossing that invisible line where "Team Hawtpants" grows fangs (tho they still call you hun), and attacks. Try suggesting that Dancers should have some ability to directly affect combat. I maintain that it would be cool if a dancer could stand on the lines of battle, perhaps even getting a TEF or risking aggro from the mobs, and grant the combatants some sort of buff/ability by continuing to dance in the heat of battle.
