How much Dancing/Entertainer exp, do you think 8 grouped master dancers all doing their best dance with no one watching would get every 12 seconds? 300? 400?

As far as I know - I didn't check after the most recent changes - it doesn't matter at all what level in dancer one's mates have. Only the number of people dancing grouped with you and close to you matters.
Wether it is a novice entertainer doing basic and not flourishing at all or a master dancer spamming 5 flourishes per 10 seconds does not. (EDIT: By that I mean the mates of the dancer whose XP are considered, not the dancer herself)
With the recent changes I am not sure though - shame on me, I've been a bad tester.

Meaning if you want to AFK for FS turn in you should have 8 masters doing Exotic4 floing every 8 seconds in a private house. You get just as much XP as you would in a cantina and you won't be hurting anyone if you are in a private house.

Call it "Grind House of Boogie." *snickers*
Please don't clutter up the real cantinas though. It's not necessary for what you are after and it makes real Dancers sad.

*sigh* In answer to the original question, the level of your groupmates should not affect your XP gain - only that they are actively playing music or dancing at the same time as you so it won't matter if you're grouped with 7 other masters, 7 other novice dancers or 7 musicians, you'll get the same XP for the same dance.
Now the XP "tick" is every 10 seconds, and while I'm not positive what the new XP amounts are especially in a group, not too long ago I was getting XP in the high 100's with a semi high level musician so my guess is that it might be around 150 - 200XP per tick - possibly a little more.
That being said, I would echo the request of the others in this thread that if your only interest is in AFK'ing Entertainer XP, that you do so in some private house without any spamming macros. It would be the polite thing to do to not bother other players who are trying to enjoy the game with other active players.
