on my home server (Tarquinas) and there's a toon playing away on its kloo horn and announces "I will stop playing in 10 seconds." Lo and behold, it does indeed stop, unequip its kloo horn and then proceeds to begin dancing. I /eyebrow it and sure enough about ten minutes later it announces it will stop dancing and switch to music and to please invite it.
I was laughing too hard to feel sorry for it. but I did inform it that it was using a pre-CU buff macro. The owner did eventually reply later with: "How do I fix the macro?"
My response: "Delete it."

I've seen people with macros that are relics of the old buffing system. Quite funny when combat folk follow instructions to invite the bot and are told that they now have a mind buff.
It boggles my mind, because a functioning macro under the new system is so ridiculously easy to make, and yet these bot owners have passed down this sacred buff macro for generations and have no idea what it means. I wonder what would happen if their macro lists were "accidentally" wiped...

What is really funny is, some of the combatants believe it. I had a guy in my guild send me a tell asking me about "mind buffs". He wanted me to give him one. I said, "Uh, I can't do that anymore." He said, "You should learn how -- they are giving them out in the Mining Outpost." I laughed and said, "Uh, that's not true, there is no such thing as a mind buff anymore. No entertainer can give one." It actually took me some time, and some forum link URLs, before he believed me.
LOL...
Can you just picture it? Some idiot of a combatant bank tipping a buff bot, inviting it, and waiting 10 minutes thinking he is getting a mind buff and then going out and running out of mind the first time he gets into combat... LMAO....

Yeah I see at least one "let me heal your bf and buff your mind" macro everyday. I always send a tell saying we can't do that any more, and if I get no response and the macro persists, I am afraid it is insta-ignore.
