Thread: Evil Dancer Combatant method

If you are combatant most of the time and proud of as am I, there is a way to deal with incoming hostile NPCs in the cantina without the need to even stopdance. >
The answer is simple. In my case (Incubus).

The secret is that droids are capped at combat level 30 and that you can reach combat level 30 with a single combat module. If you compare to high quality, well armored droids, one with five combat modules is no better than one with just one. A trouper in the cantina is usually combat level 25.
So simply get an advanced R3 droid with a level 6 combat module, a level 6 item storage module (to keep your props), four dancer effects and as armored as a droid can be.

Set the droid up behind you, activate its effects and order it to guard you. After that you liberated the cantina off the tedious cantina patrols. Since the droid casts its effects even while fighting the laser shots just add up to the show. O

You should just be high enough in combat to take a few shots... let's say combat level 17 or 18 if you have your weapon equipped.

Oh, just another thing I found out yesterday:
If you want appreciating audiance and the GCW is heated up on your server, check regulary which SF bases are currently vulnerable regulary. If they are vulnerable just go to them and entertain there. Most likely there will a be a few guys of your faction that have to wait for two hours in case the enemy shows up - which may or may not happen.
Anyway, that is - as far as I know - the most boring stuff there is SWG, but nescessary if the war is close. An entertainer can work wonders there to raise the own faction's mood.

well I thnk so, uhh hope I'm not wrong. there's a way to check on terminals.

I used to know this stuff when I did mind buff duty for defense but it's changed and I don't keep up with it. But I asked the other day and was told 3 hours.. chance that is specific for the place I was though.

Great tip with the combat droid! And yeah..I love hanging with friends while they're looking out for a vuln base. For me it is really nice to have a chance for long conversations and it makes the wait go much faster for them. More than once I've distracted the attackers for just long enough to give my friends the first strike edge. I've one friend who loves it when I drop into the Theed starport just ahead of his pvp team to distract the gank squads waiting there.

Yeah... and this way we have an important role in GCW to play.
If the Jedi and other combatants new they would possibly rather be ready to come and hang around. And if the enemy shows up even better. (Good luck with the defense than though)

hee hee /hi5 esh! Thats one of the reason i was so irate when levels went in. It was so awesome to be able to dance during the looooong wait time on base defense.

I honestly can't say that being CL 1 has stopped me from much. I've always preferred going to my patrons rather than them coming to me (the ultimate advantage a live player has over a buff bot). Sure I die from time to time. I have to admit though..I love the way they all try to protect me. And if they thought I was a burden or hassle they surely wouldn't invite me to tag along (and I'm not even a guildie).
