Thread: Getting missions for a specific player cantina
if anyone sees through it tell me please - because I don't. What is the best place to get entertainer missions for a given player city cantina?
Entertainer mission terminals have the sometimes quite frustrating habit of giving you only missions at cantinas with a minimum distance... plus payout seems to be higher with the distance. So obviously a terminal placed by the mayor right in front of the cantina is not the answer. What is then? A mayor NPC City about 1500 - 2000 meters away? Another player city at the same distance? Or maybe a small NPC city at the other end of the map?
Does it make a difference at all if the terminal is just - say - 1000 meters away?
I’m not really answering your question, just commenting … Unless it varies by planets/servers the Entertainer’s missions pay-out is almost same, the difference in location doesn’t seem to justify time invested to travel, not to mention paying for shuttle ticket. In my experience, I net lot more by taking missions to cantinas the terminal is next to, rather then if I travel to location. The pay-out is a joke to begin with, *does a voodoo dance in hopes the Devs do fix that at least* so by not traveling I’m able to complete more missions. (or has it been changes in past week? It’s about how long it’s been since I did the missions last time).
Btw you say the terminal keeps on wanting to give you missions to closest cantinas more then any other, lol I am sooooo jealous, because I always end up with an eye tick from never-ending refreshes to get the close by missions.

Anyway, I was surprised that the one in New Unity was giving me mishes for right there. Because of the distance it was telling me, I thought it was sending me to the theater.
Entertainer missions only pay out if all group members do missions for the same cantina. It is quite alright money if all in the group keep doing it. At least better than missions from artisan or explorer terminal.
The point is, that sometimes you have to entertain at places with hardly any customers around. Usually with the intention to make the cantina or city you are dancing at more attractive for people. Or because you just like this place and are to stuborn to dance at any other place than the one you like most. In this case you will be willing to do virtually anything for just some credits and a little distraction.

It's right in front of the cantina - anything that is about 195m is for that cantina.For ent term across from the front door of Mos Eisley cantina the distance range would be 20-35 depending where you are standing when you click on it - the same range holds true for the ent term next to the ramp to the Lucky Despot for missions in LD.
Theed is 300ish range but direction matters (sorry I can't remember off the top of my head) as one puts you in the hotel and the other puts you in the cantina. The term is in front of the starport.
