oh ya forgot to mention the skill point cost ... i really dont like tht it takes up 15 skill points to pick up novice on the entry level professions

Yeah needing 15 points for novice kind of sux but you really can make good money with this. I have one friend who makes over 100k a day doing this.

ok im new to this forum ... so have no idea if this has been sugested or not ... if so cool, if not i hope it'll help ... putting down harvesters/generators can pull in a prety penny ... it does cost a lil to start up and will require at least novice artison ... but once u get going its prety much easy to run ...

It can be a good way to make money. I knew people who have done this.
Personally though, there will be no room in my template when I'm done for novice artisan. I hunt for extra credits so my scout and medic skills take up the room I have left after mastering 2 profs.
It is a good idea though.

Renting out your lots is a good money maker. You don't really need artisan to do it but your customers will certainly need to trust you. Basically you place the structures and add the renter to admin. Or have someone transfer thier structure to you and then add them to admin. I know you can have factories with no artisan skill, I'm not sure about harvestors.
I have no idea what the going rates are but i know that free lots are a comodity on every server.

You don't need artisan at all. Sure, you can't survey for anything, but you might probably don't care TOO much. As an artisan I just farm the largest consentration of whatever. I'll need it eventually lol. But if you just run around and see where others have placed harvestors, then place yours nearby as well.
