Thread: Cantinapalooza: Cross-server Event on Flurry

Well we here on Flurry have decided that the folks over on Bria are having entirely too much fun, so we've decided to hold our own cross-server event. We're calling it Cantinapalooza, and it will be held on Saturday, July 24th at 8:00pm eastern, 5:00pm pacific. This event is being hosted by Celestial Storm, Flurry's newest band, but all entertainers from Flurry or any other server who would like to come for a visit and party with the Flurrians are invited to attend. All levels are welcome. We'll be kicking things off at the Den of Syn in downtown Mos Syn, Tatooine. We're planning a few surprises, and yes, souvenir HAWTPANTS! will be provided for all participants. 
So mark it on your calendars, and feel free to contact either myself or Corum in game for more info, or if you wanna get a head start on your entertainer skills before the event. More details will follow as the date approaches. Hope to see ya there!

Just a reminder that Cantinapalooza is only a week away! So after you finish partying on Bria at Cantina Crawl VIII, or if you can't make it, be sure to join us on Flurry on Saturday, July 24th.
We will be gathering at the Den of Syn in Mos Syn starting around 7:00pm eastern (4:00pm pacific), and the party should officially kick off around 8:00 eastern (5:00 pacific). So come early to be sure you get your souvenir HAWTPANTS, buffs, and anything else you need to party the night away.
The best way to get in touch with us to to check out Flurry's entertainer chat channel 'EOF' (thanks Jaade!). To get instantly connected with other entertainers across Flurry simply type:
/chat join eof
Also we are planning some special performances that evening that you're not going to want to miss. All I will tell you in advance is that we are going to get the party started at the T I N A!
As a special request to anyone joining us from another server, I am looking for a newbie scout vest for something we want to do. If anyone who will be creating a character on Flurry in the next week could start out as a scout, and let me know, I'd really appreciate it. This is just in case we can't scrounge another one in the meantime.

OMG... my other Mon Cal is on Flurry. I will have two dancing female Mon Cals?? /boggle

Why do you have to delete any characters? Don't you get one character slot on every server?
No I think you are only allowed 4. 
I need to check my schedule. I think I have one character that I might be able to part with and I really would like to visit you on your server since you have been so gracious in visiting mine.

You can have 8 characters all together and three on Test Center.

Yep I created a Twi'lek version of moi on Flurry just now. Lets hope I can get the night off. Friday and Saturday nights are hard for me.

I can't make it to 2 in a row or my wife would kill me. And since for some odd reason you chose to hold this thing the DAY AFTER the Cantina Crawl I guess I won't be making it to this one. See everyone at the Cantina Crawl tho, can't wait!
Too bad you didn't decide to spread them out a little.. the day after the other event is a strange way to go imo. Next saturday would of been nice. Definately don't have time to work on a character for this one and the CC also even if I could make it, hehe. Well maybe I'll see you guys and gals at the next one if you do it again.

Actually RM, I planned this one before CC7 (check the original post date). I even checked with Javy first to make sure that he wasn't planning an event for the same day. It had nothing to do with the timing of CC8. I was hoping it would end up between CC events, but those Brians just love to party.
Plus when I checked availability between myself and some of my friends on Flurry, the 24th was the one day that came out best, so that's why we picked next Saturday. We'd love to have you if you can join us, but if not, I'll understand. On a side note - I did get my newbie scout vest so we don't need that anymore. Oh, and a limit of only a character on 8 other servers? I never knew that. So much for having an ent on every server ...
Also a big welcome to Lei and Kirah, and our other cross server friends to Flurry! Send me a tell sometime when you're on.
