Thread: Same account character buffing

I was wondering if it is possible to use an alt on the same account (and server) to mindbuff your main. I tried this, but everytime i log on my alt, my main disconnects. Any help is appreciated.

You can have a separate account and a separate computer and accomplish the task.
You wont find a lot of sympathy on these boards if you plan to buffbot.

use the tech support forums and use seach for running two instances of SWG on the same machine...
sense your gonna buffBot you SHOULD attempt this with as little ram as possible, 384mb should work!

Thanks for your input.
However, i'm already aware that you can do this with 2 accounts, but i'm trying to do it with 2 characters on the SAME account. I've got 2 instances running, but one character always knocks the other offline immediately when i log on.

No you cannot. And should not be able to. One account, one character logged in at once.

Unless you are a pre 10 jedi, only way to have two chars on same account/same server (I think) - if that is the case, think you have more of a tech issue and the tech support thread would be able to help you better.
On second thought I think Javier is right, even if you have a second char on the same account you shouldnt be able to log both on at the same time.
