Why not give Masters of the Entertainment Professions Party camps?
Not the defensive ones who have crafting Stations and such, like the rangers,
but some light structures with open tents, a central fire, maybe some seats.
The could be themed, like for Beach parties, Wedding setup, Party, "Just a fire",
Moonshine Party.
I could even envision merging the 2 Healing trees together to one, and get a tree
called Props, allowing the creation of those camps, as well as someProps too
wield in Dancing, like Sticks, Umbrellas, Scarves...

That would be insanely fun! I think a props line would be great. *nods*

I like it but I'm not sure I like taking camps from the Rangers. Perhaps only Rangers could build the camps and then sell them to the entertainers? Or they can only use the camps when an entertainer is in a group and they can throw down a combined camp? I can definitely see us collapsing the healing lines into one freeing musician and us up with a line for something else.
If I could make up a 4th line though I would make it Props & Performance
Props & Perf I: Mirror dance (group with one other dancer as leader and mirror opposite their flourish)
Items: Ribbon, Fan, a flower
Props &Perf II: Couple dance (group with non dancer and have them dance with you)
Items: Veils, legged chair, dancing staffs
Props &Perf III: Line dancing (includes unique bandflourishes for all grouped dancers like fan kicks, special effect spins and coordinated leaps)
Items: Dancing round a pole you plant, grand ribbons, balls or rings
Props & Perf IV: Acrobatic dance (includes unique bandflourishes for all grouped dancers of a higher level like flips, rolls, turns and capoera/adv breakdancing like moves)
Items: Animal props, hats that can be flourished, grand fans, masks
I think we as a community need to look for ways to integrate ourselves with other classes as much as possible. This will not only gain us more supporters from other professions, which we need for more developer notice, but it fosters cooperation and interdependence in the non-jedi community that will be left.

this is quite possibly the most brilliant idea suggested for the profession(s). cooler than new dances even!!

sounds really neat, would support this idea. We have special effects, but props other then weapons might get me in the cantian more often. Hope that using such props would prevent falling like weapons do. I think musicians should have some as well, not only out of fairness, but for more depth for all entertainers and an fun show to watch while i perform. Microphones, amps, those harmonic holder thingies, being able to light there mandoivol on fire. This would be a great way to personalize a performance even more, a change from doing the same 2 exotic flourishes that everyone else does.

I would do anything for a little entertainer's camp! Most of the credits that I make as an entertainer is from contract buffing for hunting parties and quest groups. They pay me to drop camp for a couple of hours and be available to buff them when needed. I usually make around 200-250k per contract. Just hanging around in camp is a great time to play with flourish combinations or just pull out my mando and goof off for a while. Not to mention that it is darn nice to get out of the cantina. While my little novice scout camps serve the purpose..it sure would be cool to have something that screamed Party!

That's why it won't happen. Fun is strictly forbidden per the TOS. If however we whine and moan about how much this will hurt our profession while making Jedi even more uber (arrr) it will be in game within the week.

Design kits for instruments maybe?
But certain things, like masks should be left to the third entertainer specialist class, the image designers, masks and alike. They are the one that stand in the theatres backrooms and take care that we are ready for the show.
This could work out if we don't become to demanding. They might introduce the items, but I would really be supprised if they'd come up with partner dances or completely new forms of dancing.

Yeah, we should go to the in development forum and demand, that it shall not be introduced. Espacially if we get a 12-year old guy to speak against us and advocate the idea. *grin*
No, really we should organize our whining and mouning more professional. They just don't give us what we want because they expect a show from the entertainers.

i love this idea! it reminds me of gypsies! not calling us dancers namadic travelers with raunchy breath, but i would love to be able to throw down some campfire material as aposed to just dancing in the middle of the woods with an ent droid!
