Thread: Happy Thursday use the AFK/bot thread, stop ruining our forum
So, I tell you right now. I'm weary of it. We need a day of peace.
All arguments and conversations about buffbots and AFKing need to go into the sticky thread designed for it. Look up top, find that thread designed for it, and toss your opinions there.
If you're coming here itching for a fight, or to tell us how much you love your bots, please just don't. Be a little sensitive and just don't go there. Let us be for just one day.
Thanks.

Yesterday totally sucked around here, in case you weren't aware of it. Flame war after flame war, people fighting tooth and nail about harassment and buffbots...correspondents supporting buffbots...threads deleted...certain wookiees getting to the end of their rope...it was hell!
Partially my fault. I appologize
I think your idea is wonderful and will help to heal some of the wounds. I hope everyone thinks to keep their best face forward and not lose focus on its purpose.

Oooooh . . . I hope this request doesn't include my thread to come up with event ideas on Chil . . .
And nobody needs to feel guilty about yesterday. This isn't about pointing fingers. I just don't want to see it happen again today.

Happy Thursday! I'll be up for any event on Chilastra - just don't mention buff you know whats anywhere in the thread. It just gets 'em all excited. I think just concentrating on having fun and ignoring bad behavior will have the biggest and most positive impact. You guys rock. You know it. Don't let meanies get you down.

Luckily, I cut off some superfluous fur and lengthened the rope quite a bit last night.
I'm not very good at braiding fur, so i hope it holds up. Blast these Wookiee paws...can't do a thing with em.
I think the lesson to be learned here is...don't feed the trolls. Just let em babble on to themselves. Any Entertainer on here's opinion is well known, so don't even bother trying to bash them. They're not worth your time. Really.
Sorry for any hassle I caused yesterday. I'm feeling much better now.

This is the best advice. From months of dealing with a very controversial issue in the merchant forum the best policy is once you have stated your position on an issue .. just drop it. You can't convince others who don't agree with your basic logic or belief system that you are right. Fighting them just expends energy you could be using on something more productive..like flirting
