Okay, here it is - a thread where we can hash out ideas about taking back Chilastra for live players. Let's keep it positive and moving toward a collective theme.
We want our fellow social players to remain in the game. This includes you,Blayze! No one is allowed to leave and that's an order! /blowkiss
Remember, if anyone comes in here to try to change our focus or incite a flamewar, ignore them! Don't try to reason with them or argue our cause. I don't generally advocate the /ignore function, but if you have to do that to keep from taking their bait, please do so.
How many of you have created characters so far? I have one there. If youprefer to PM me with your character's name (and your forum/ingame ent name), I willstart a list. Note, it will be monitored for potential buffbot infiltration. The list can be used for ingame emails and setting up a private chat channel.
I suggest some informal gatherings to begin with - starting with this weekend for anyone who can join the server. We could have a noob ent gathering in Mos Eisley for starters. Panthu gave me a very nice suggestion or two that we could use to work together to level up our ents. We can alsocoordinate timeframes so that no one is stuck on the server alone. Perhaps we need a secret handshake?! LOL!
Okay, y'all have the floor. There's more than enough creativity in this groupfor everyone to do something proactive. And hey - don't think I'm not willing to hand the reins over to someone with the abilities and willingness tokeep this thing going. I have absolutely NO problem doing that.
Remember, its Chilastra today. It could be Bria tomorrow, or Kettlemoor or Starsider or Lowca . . . all servers are ripe for the kind of abuse that has happned on Chil. Let's not point fingers here as to blame(as tempting as it might be), let's be constructive and work together to put a stop to the entstalkers.

My tailor/arch/merchant character is Carenzi. I run a shop catering to entertainers. I have the means to provideall the "material" itemswe need. With the exception of a prior engagement tonight, I will be on Chilastra as Carenzi during my play time.

Well, I hope this doesn't fall under the negative category, but I think that everyone that gets together on Chilly should have a very clear understanding of the Harassment policies laid down by SOE. So that on the off chance that Buffbot supporters do show up, our ATK group will know what and what NOT to do. We want this to be a 'take back the server' event, not a harassment war that leads to us being banned.
Other than that, I think that at first maybe a not-so-popular venue for getting together might be good for us at first. It'll allow us to get to know each other better.
Once that's done, then something like the Starport Jams is definitely a good idea! We hit the locations that people go most often. The Cantina Crawls are fun, but we'd get more exposure at Starports

Ill be on later tonight. Im seriously still thinking of quitting. Ive lost way too many friends to this recently and its killing me inside. Many of you seem to think this is just a game. Wrong! To me, Ive met so many wonderful people in this game. Ive made some real life friends out of it. I even got together with some and visited them. Some of these people I speak to on the phone consistently. Some I have grown to love like brothers and sisters. I play this game still because of all these wonderful people.
*sighs*
Im tired of the wars, Im tired of losing my friends. I even lost my friendship with the one buffbot I was friends with over this. Im going to get Chilli back for the ents. Then its time for Blayze to disappear

Thanks, all. I should mention that a prior engagement has me committed for part of the evening, also, however, I may be able to get to Chilastra later.
And, yes - put on your flame-retardant dancing shoes, people. Harrassment of buffbots is a big no-no - that includes inviting them to group as much as anything more visual/vocal. Let's show that we are the mature ones despite anythingthatmight bethrown at us.

Heh, Chilastra ismy home server, so I'm thrilled there's a push to take it back for live Ents. As it happens, I'll be at a party on Bria for at last some of the evening tonight, though. Hehe, the busy social life of an entertainer.
Also, I'll post a link to this thread on the Musician board.
