Greetings

I posted this in the Musician thread but since you guys have a poll on the BF topic already I will amend my original post to the essentials:

Since there seems to be some Dancer support for BF healing in camps through Entertainer performance, I am suggestingone stipulation:

Only in theField Base (Ranger Frontiering 2) and Hi-Tech Field Base ( Ranger Frontiering 4)canBF be healed through Entertainer performance.

This way BF healing in cantinas will still be coveted as the number of Rangers WITH Frontiering will be alot less that a person with Novice Scout.

The other idea is a little more controversial:

Would you object to the idea of consumable "playback tapes" being used to heal BF (but not buff) in Hi-Tech Field Bases? These tapes could be used and last for only a set amount of time, maybe 15 or 20 minutes and heal BF at a slower rate than an actual entertainer in camp. However they would provide BF healing away from cities when if an entertainer is not around and provide a material commodity for entertainers to sell. BTW, Musicians could make playback tapes like the samples made in playback droidsand Dancers could make a holographic video that is also made with a droid (with a new DE module).

Anyways, I would just like to see how you guys feel about this as we Rangers would like to improve the worth of our eye-candy, noob-amazer camp and I personally do not want our wishes to come at the cost of stepping on your toes.

Yes, I like the idea of high level camps giving entertainers the ability to heal BF. No, I don't like the idea of any sort of consumable or anything like it that turns us into crafters or takes away from live performances. If you want healing in the field, why not just invite an entertainer along?

And yeah, this probably belong in that other thread.

Personally I think all forms of healing should work in all camps, but on a logarithmic scale, so that the Field bases get the full skill rating, while most others are severely hindered
