So I'm just minding my own business, dancing my little heart away in the Coronet cantina, when a CorSec trooper walks in and starts blasting the AFKers. I couldnt help but laugh. I know its 3AM my time, such a sight to see. I dunno, I might stop my dance and pistolwhip the NPC, but this is fun. Heheh.

The CorSec folks have gone insane. There have been reports of random attacks byCorSec onpeople with neutral and postivie CorSec faction. I had dismissed these reports as frivilous until it happened to me. I was standing in the starport at the ticket terminal when a CorSec trooper ran up to me and attacked. I was wearing full composite armor and my guy killed the trooper without any action on my part. No one knows if this is a bug or not.

Not always true...

The day Publish 10 hit, while waiting for buffsoutside of the Coronet starport, I was attacked by a couple of CorSec guys who were yellow on radar. I had +5000 CorSec faction. One of the other players (AFK while waiting in line) was killed by them.

I thought that perhaps the CorSec AI was changed to go aggro in other circumstances, and was laughing when the idea occured to me that it was intended to have them slaughtering the AFK spammers outside the starport. Could be...

It isn't just the CorSec guys either. A handful of us were waiting, ungrouped,at the shuttle outside Nym's Stronghold (Chilastra) minding our own business when one of Nym's guards started taking potshots at me (Shianne)! The overt Rebel next to me was kind enough to take up my cause and attacked the NPC. Suddenly several other guards began firing on all of us - and at least three of us had little if any combat capabilities! Again, there were three or four well armored players who took out after the guards and I, at least, was able to just wait it out until the shuttle arrived and made a mad dash to safety!

Weird . . . . I've haven't enough positive or negative faction of any sort on Chilto cause a Nym's guard tolook at me funnylet alone fire on me . . .

Scip, as I stated - I wasn't grouped with anyone and I believe I was the first one fired upon . . .

Corsec troops don't attack players with neutral or positive faction, so (if they weren't rogue corsec) theycould have been killed by a CSR posing as an NPC
